Junior Ravens set to enter Southern league
With the Junior Ravens Rugby league starting training this Thursday at Acacia hall on Dartford high Street, The club are now able to announce that the Ravens’ under 12s, under 14s and Under 16s have been accepted to join the RFL southern leagues to pit their skills against other clubs from London and slightly further a field such as the likes of Croydon Hurricanes and West London Sharks.
The Ravens also had the fixtures released to them and will see all the three league teams take on St. Albans at home, the same time the men’s first team place London Griffins in a friendly at Acacia Hall on Saturday 10th march.
Chairman Alan Bacon stated “Even though it’s a nervous time with the start of training this Thursday, these are still exciting times at the Kent Ravens; all the teams including the Junior Ravens now have a big chance of getting silverware, having regular games each week and also progressing through the representative levels onto RFL training camps and so on”
The Junior Ravens are looking for children of all ages to come and join in even if you have no experience; it is great fun with also the chance for players to work through representative honours too.
