Ravens continue to strengthen behind the scenes

With the squad coming back from the winter off-season next week to start their 2007 campaign the Raven continued to strengthen behind the scenes with this week’s announcement that the Kent Ravens are delighted to announce a unique sponsorship deal with Rugby League website LastTackle.com.

Website owner James Gordon is to design the Ravens' new monthly magazine, they’ll also be hosting a supporters message board while the firm has also bought sponsorship rights to appearing on the clubs playing kit.

The Ravens, based in Dartford, Kent, were founded in 2004 and have made giant strides over the last few years. They are set to move into a new home, Princes Park Community Stadium in August, for the 2007 season.

Club Chairman Alan Bacon was pleased with the deal: "It shows how much or an improvement the club has made of the last few years when a leading Rugby League website such as LastTackle.com wants to get on board with the club, these are definitely exciting times at the Ravens and everyone should check out the website for a new Rugby league news including from the Super League"

LastTackle.com is a Rugby League news site that covers the top echelons of the game, as well as the amateur levels, dedicated to increasing awareness of Rugby League. They are already active partners of the development of the game in Norway and Sweden, as well as with London Griffins and South London Storm.

Last Tackle owner James Gordon added: "This partnership is great news. We look forward to helping the Ravens increase awareness of Rugby League in Kent, and it will be nice to see the Ravens run out with our logo on their shirt in the 2007 campaign, for which we wish them luck."
