The “Sports 2006” show

This is the biggest opportunity the Kent Ravens have to secure players, sponsors and Coaches for next season as the Club will be the only Rugby League exhibition at the Sport 2006 show. The club needs at least 9 volunteers each day to help man the stall and also the inflatable RFL Powergen Skills zone that’ll be used to introduce youths to tackling, kicking, passing and so on free of charge.

Last Junior Ravens Training session (
It may be the last one of the season but as usual the Under 9s, under 11s and under 13s squads will be training at the home ground on
The last of all Kent Ravens fixtures for 2006 will see the most successful side in the club take on a strong touring Golbourne park side at Home; it would be great for the Juniors to get loads of support especially as the other teams are free from playing.
Junior Ravens Awards night (
The Ravens own stars of the future will be coming together to celebrate the end of a great 2006 season at the home ground (Eltham Palace Road) all juniors, 15 or under get in free while all adults are charged only £5 each to get in. There’ll be a great raffle, buffet, a DJ, loads of Trophies for each team and it should be a great night. The club urges all Senior players to make an attempt to be there and support the Juniors.
If you want a chance to say how the club runs, what has been good or bad about this season then this is your only chance to address all the committee members and have your say and just simply run up and find out everything you need to know about the 2007 season before it actually happens.
The awards night will be held at FKG – Tudor Sport Ground on Eltham Road (corner of Meadowcourt Road) on Saturday 30th September starting at 7:30pm, there’ll be a raffle (donations are welcome prior to the event), a DJ, Three course meal, the bar, great trophies and the dresscode for the event is Black tie/very smart. The night is only open to adults aged over 15 and the cost to get your place reserved is only £40.00; see Vicki Stewart or Alan Bacon for more details.
