Last year's winner was Abdullah Ben - Kmayal. Ben was nominated because he gave up his job and put his own personal savings into setting up Bethwin Football Club in Peckham which now has over 600 children playing in sixteen teams. The winner will be announced on the BBC London Sports Awards show hosted by Danny Kelly on Sunday December 4th and will then be put forward for the National Award which will be announced on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year on December 11th.
