As far as beer goes, I would recommend going to The Elysian Brewery on Capitol Hill, which is in my opinion one of the best brewpubs I have been to in the country. There is also Big Time in the U district. Below I have included the links to both.

Elysian: http://www.elysianb rewing.com/

Big Time: http://www.bigtimeb rewery.com/

Also, here is a link to a listing of alot of the breweries in the Seattle area:

I hope this helps.

Bryan,

I posed your question to my brother who used to live near Seattle and here is what he had to say:

Well, it¢s been too long since I was there to remember any specific trails or breweries, but you can tell Bryan that the area is peppered with both and he¢d have to be a complete moron to not stumble into both with his eyes closed.

Good Luck!

Hello,

Is anyone on the list familiar with the Seattle area?  I am heading out there for a week on a business trip, and I would like to do some off pavement running.  I am staying in Kent , WA (about 4 miles east of the Seattle-Tacoma Airport ).  How far would I have to go to have good access to some trails?  Any info is appreciated!

Additionally, if any of you beer connoisseurs have any brewpub recommendations, I'd love to hear 'em!

Thanks!

Bryan
