Congrats on getting into Leadville, yet again. It just shows that they'll take
anybody's money. :-)

For the record, folks, if Lou finishes this 100-miler this year, he will be the
oldest participant (at 73), to have finished Leadville.

I am sure some of you have given up the idea of doing the Twin Lakes 40 or the
Winfield 50 mile, thinking the ranks were closed. However I just sent them a
check and they snapped it up as quick as a cat. So you see there is still time
for you to enter. In fact I think you could enter up until 5 pm Friday the 19th.

Perhaps you are wondering if you will get any recognition for completing these
events? Like the "Just Visiting" Massanutten rock. Well, I can tell you that you
will be in the program, listed alphabetically, with all your in and out splits.
If you need more recognition than that, you can write a soul searching article
for UltraRunning. L.J.
