Tired of pavement? This group site is dedicated to off-pavement trailrunning in the Kansas City Region and Midwest. We run on rocky/rooty and hilly trails.

We host FREE group trail training runs during the week. Check our schedule to find where/when we are running. We usually have these runs on Tue, Wed, and Thu nights, and also on Sat and Sun mornings. There is also an RSVP Sunday evening run in Lawrence.

On Tue/Thu, we meet at or after sunset, and run for about 40 to 90 minutes with headlamps and/or flashlights. This helps to improve your "trail feel." It's great training for a 100-Mile trail run or an Adventure Racing event.

On Sat and Sun mornings, we alternate locations and do runs between 7 and 22 miles in distance. We always run to the slowest person's pace, unless there are enough runners for 2 or 3 groups.

Runners are expected to be self-sufficient on our FREE training runs. We are all about HAVING FUN! Please read our informational disclaimer.
