In the late 80's through to the late 90's, Kathy had a fair amount of coverage
in the magazines, but she was just pre the internet age. Thus, most of the pics
you will see on the net are scans from mags. She appeared in Womens Physique
World, Female Bodybuilding, Muscle and Fitness, Flex, Muscular Development
Magazine, and many others, including the Natural Bodybuilding mags. WPW only did
a photo shoot with her right at the end of her career, plus a video.
There are a few video's around on You Tube, covering contests and guest posing.

Dear Kathy Unger Fans,

Great idea Skinleather, a real fantasy! Kathy is
no longer bodybuilding, her last contest was the Ms
International in 1998, and no more photo's were recorded beyond

Hi. Just saw your on the newsgroup and took the
link here. Great club. Just checking it out. Kathy
used to work out at a Gold's Gym in my area. I don't
know if she is in the sport anymore or not. Well, good
luck with the club.

I have been a fan of Kathy's since the mid 80's
and have always been surprised that she gets very
little coverage, apart from a brief spell of Muscle Mag
interest in the early 90's. She has never achieved a high
placing in the Miss Olympia despite her legendary abs and
great arms + knockout facial beauty. <br>She fared
better when competing in "Natural" contests and was
World Champion 2 years running. The "Net" does not help
her many fans with little coverage on Web pages, so I
hope to redress this imbalance here. There is more of
Kathy on the web now since Women's Physique World did a
photo shoot and video (maybe my occassional plea for a
Kathy shoot to Bill at WSP helped!). You can see the
photo's at http:\\www.womensphysiqueworld.com. I have not
posted any of their pay to view pictures, but you can
join WPW's many photo clubs, including Kathy's, at the
above address.<br><br>I hope you enjoy my collection of
scans, and hope you will contribute others and help
