Hi Everybody,
Just a quick note to let everyone know whats going on for the month.
This Friday we are having a Valentine's dance. From 7 - 8 Sensei Bryan
will be giving a free dance lesson to anyone that shows and then the
dance will run from 8 -12. Hope everyone can come and bring a friend.

We are having a referee seminar this Saturday from 10 till 4:30.
Sensei Gary Tsutsui will be running the seminar which will be held at
Jay Haynes's school located at the corner of Carefree and Orlo Blanco.
We are asking for a $20 donation, but if you don't have it please
come anyway. We need lots of people in the Springs to know the new
rules that were established by the World Karate Federation this year.

We will be closed May 19th for Presidents day.

On February 24th we will be hosting an in-house tournament at the
north school so the competitors and referee's can practice the new
rules before the city wide event to be held on May 19th.

We are also hosting a seminar on March 10th with Grandmaster Brendan
Lai. Grandmaster Lai is one of the worlds formost experts in Preying
Mantis Kung Fu. Hope everyone puts that on their schedule, you don't
want to miss that one.

Lastly, we are planning a trip to China this summer. Grandmaster
Brendan Lai has opened up some doors and for the first time, some kung
fu masters will be teaching outsiders. We are planning on leaving on
June 5th and returning on June 18th. Cost for the trip which includes
meals, hotels, trainging fee is $3500. If you are interested in this
once in a lifetime trip, please contact me for additional information.
