Dear Students, Teachers and Parents,
Last weekend we held the Elite Retreat with guest Instructors coming
from Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. We all had a great time, learned a
lot and truly enjoyed the fellowship with these other karate masters.
Word of the Week - Nagoshi
Nagashi means to flow. As you begin to become proficient in the
martial arts, one technique simply follows another. What begins as a
1-2-3 combination suddenly blends with another and becomes 4-5-6.
Hands and feet, striking and throwing all become of one technique. As
these actions become more efficient, they start flowing one after
another. Pay attention to watch the senior black belts as they move
and identify Nagashi in action.

Brown and Black Belt Meeting
I am requesting all brown and black belts attend a meeting to be held
at the North school this Wednesday at 7:30 pm. We have some important
information to share and discuss. Parents of Junior brown and black
belts are also encouraged to attend. Please let me know if you are

The tournament being held at Coronado has been changed to November
18th.
