Concept of the Week
We have in the past talked about the concept of dealing with a
problem or an attack after it has developed ( Go-no-sen ), and how to
resolve a problem before it develops ( Sen-no-Sen ). One concept
that goes in line with this thinking is creating win-win situations
as much as possible.
By understanding what someone's motivation is allows you to help
him
or her achieve their goals and if you can align your needs with those
same objectives, this allows you to create a win-win situation. This
is a tactical skill that every warrior should develop to its fullest
potential. Zig Ziglar says that you can get anything you want in life
if you help enough other people get what they want. I believe this is
very true.

New Schedule
We have added some classes to the schedule for your convenience,
which will take effect the first of July. Most class times will not
changed but additional classes will be offered that you can attend.
Our aerobic-kickboxing class is back by popular demand and will be
held on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 and Saturday at 11:15. We will
also have sparring and Jujitsu classes on Fridays and a Chinese Kempo
class on Tuesday night and Saturday mornings. We have also added a
weapons class on Saturdays for those that want to study that art. We
are also going to have a day class on Monday and Wednesday at noon.

Congratulations to Sensei Bryan
Sensei Bryan was at the Colorado Country Classic and won gold medals
in Waltz, Cha Cha, Two Step and Swing. Congratulations!
