Teen Dance This Friday
Jeremy and Angie are have a swing dance class followed by a open
dance for teens this Friday at 7 PM. Charge is $5, ($7 for a couple)
for the lesson and dance. Please invite your friends so we can have a
good turnout. We are trying to develop the dojo as a healthy place
for the kids to hang out and develop some social skills at the same
time. For adults they have dance lessons on Saturday night at 7 PM.

Word of the Week " Kaizen"
Kaizen translates as a path of constant and never ending improvement.
In karate we are always trying to throw the perfect technique or
perform the perfect kata. Although we may never reach that target, it
is the ideology, the attempt, to always strive for that goal that
separates us from the average person. Although this attitude is
duplicated in ever aspect of ones life, it is best understood in
reference to combat.
In a life and death encounter – how many times can you afford to
loose? Well the answer of course is never. So in order to insure that
are defense will work all the time, we must strive to develop perfect
techniques. Just OK is not good enough. The true warrior maintains
Kaizen every day in his life.
