Dear Students, Parents and Teachers,
On the eve of me going to New Mexico to train with my Kempo instructor,
and with the weather cold and snowy, I have placed a few reading
materials in the vault at karate-ka@egroups.com so you will have
something to do over the long weekend. Sensei Bryan just got back from
training in Atlanta and brought back some great material written by Dan
Smith, my Shorin Ryu instructor. It is labeled as Dan Smith seminar
2000. I also placed an article on kata and the book of Kojosho which
you may find interesting reading. To access the information simply go
to our web site ( www.coloradokarate.com ) and then in the menu area
click on ABBA Groups. Once inside click on Karate-Ka Archive and it
will take you to that site. ( Feel free to join the other groups as
well - the dojo chat for those that like to talk to others about what
we are doing and the Colorado Karate Federation for those interested in
sport competition. ) Once you are in the archives section, look across
the top and look for the box labeled "vault". When you click on that
you will see the files that we have loaded. Hope everyone has a great
weekend, and I will get out the weekly karate-gram Sunday evening when
I get back.
