This Sunday is not only tomb sweeping day but it is also the annual pig roast
family run. Fittingly, making his hare debut on a pig roast run is Dancing pig
fucker...seems to fit. Along with DPF, FFF and Singing Shithead will lead you
through a great trail near YenChao (not near where last saturday's run was). We
will be serving HOME MADE SAUSAGES! Yes, the hares, along with Not too bright,
have made sausages and will be bbq'ing them up on Sunday. Please email me before
Friday night if you are coming (even if you are just a maybe, tell me that) so I
have a rough estimate of how much food to buy and prepare. I also hope that some
people can make some salads, maybe a potato salad or two and a another kind of
salad. Let me know what you are making so we don't have too much of one salad!
Email me at corytoner@... or taiwantoner@...

Lets grill some sausages!

Hello all,

The All Island Run is an annual event of all the Hashes in Taiwan. We gather
together once a year, from all over the island for this great event. The last
two years, the events were hosted by the northern Hash Houses with 200 to 300
participants. This year, KHHH is very honored to host this event in the Southern
Taiwan and we are expecting about 250 hashers with a hell of a time! This is a
very good event that you don't want to miss!

Send your info to me before March 31st to sign up!

Here is the people who have signed up with me:

Some have given me the complete info and some haven't. Please send the info
ASAP. If you don't send me your T-shirt sizes, then you don't get a shirt. If
you don't send me your REAL NAME, Birthday and ID Number, then you don't get
insurance. That's how easy it is. And all you Taiwanese people, send me your
CHINESE name!

And if I missed you on the list. Let me know.

Righto Happy Hashers! Howdy!

Gear up! It's time to get your reservations in for the family weekend away of
the century! This time it's on beautfiul Hsiao Liu Chiu, off the coast of Ping
Dong. Awesome location!

DATE: Weekend of 2nd - 3rd May, 2009.

We will take a private ferry at a reasonable hour on Saturday morning from
Kaohsiung, direct to our destination on Hsiao Liu Chiu where we will have
opportunity to explore and terroize the island for the whole weekend. We have
booked an entire accommodation site for hashers only, equipped with everything
we could possibly need, including tennis and basketball courts. It has ocean
views and the local shopping area is just down the road. Runs will be scenic
and fun, with stroller trails available on both days for the little ones.

beloved bargaining super-hero Tuna, and Oral Fixation.

Approximate costs are around $2280 per person for the entire weekend including
return ferry ticket, accommodation, lunch x 2, dinner, breakfast, run fees, and
entry to all tourist sites (on trail) for the weekend. (Accommodation cost has
been averaged, and final cost will depend on number of people per room - double,
four & six bed rooms available, plus top floor karaoke suite for 6 - first in
best dressed!).

Bookings are essential, so email and let us know if you wish to attend.
REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW BEING TAKEN AND NUMBERS ARE LIMITED!!

TO BOOK: Email Oral Fixation at supercooper4@... to confirm your place.

FOR MORE INFO: Email Oral Fixation (supercooper4@...) or Useless Member
(victorwang@...)

As we are going off the island of Taiwan, we need a copy of your ARC/Passport

As most of you should already know, we are hosting the 2009 AIR run on April
18th. We will take a bus, leaving at 12:30 from the grand, to the moon mountains
out past Da Gang Shan (this is further into them the we usually go on our rus).
There we will meet many other hashers from around the island and do a
spectacular trail (this is a bash run for our hash so expect a bit of a more
difficult trail) hared by singing shithead and crocodile dundee around, through
and over the moon mountains. Then we will drink a swack of beer and eat dinner
at the finish. This is a huge event for us to host and I want us to have great
attendance to show the rest of Taiwan who really is the best hash. In order to
get everything ready, you need to let us know you are coming but the end of
March (we need to order shirts and food). So, message alice at
aliceli44@... in order to register. Remember, you have to register before
April 1st in or you won't get a shirt (and you will still pay the same cost!).
The cost will be 700 for run fees plus extra for the bus.

On on KHHH

Run # 2122: Champagne Breakfast Run Brought to you by Spamjammer, FFF and the
Gimp.

Champagne Breakfast runs turn up about every six months on out Hash calender.
It seems to me that they are a little earlier every time, or maybe I'm just
getting lazier. Posting a run report a full 10 days late would support that
theory!

A large and varied group of hashers trekked from Kaohsiung County all the way to
Ping Dong in search of champagne and eggs.

A few 3rd timers were brave enough to make this their naming run. ( I can
sympathize, I was named on a bash!)

Birthday girl Sarah and her man James were a "cultured" pair, in much the same
way as cheese and Yogurt. Their experiments in fermentation earned them the
names "The Pickler" (very batman-esque) and "Pickle Juice"

Secretive Saskatchewan Erica was reluctant to be named untill Pretty Pussy Pony
had left our midst, for fear of the dirt that could be dug up and flung about by
said PPP. I always though a little dirt could never hurt a Prairie Girl! Being
as she is from a flat place that rhymes with "Mile" and "smile", she was dubbed
"Horizontal Kyle", a name that was quickly doctored by small-town rival Landis
resident FFF to "Ho-rizontal Kyle" and, after a few drinks, further doctored
(and amputated) to simply "The Ho"

Secrecy was not an option for poor Becky, whose loving cousin Talking Nightmare
came prepared with a rap sheet a mile long from which to distill a dirty name.
After a few hair-raising, cheek-reddening, stomach churning stories, Becky
recieved the moniker "Unholy Bush Whacker". For more details, contact Talking
Nightmare!

A Frequent and welcome guest, Flying Pizza, not only brightened our morning, but
came bearing (much needed) gifts. Many of us can remember FFF's black Spandex
Marks and Spencers panties from the last champagne run. (they're super comfy! I
have a few pair myself) Saturday morning must have been to dark for him to find
them, as he turned up at the hash lacking in skivvies.... and in shorts short
enough to display the mistake to more than a few people. Flying Pizza's gift of
Japanese Style robes to both the hares saved FFF from a bit of frostbite, and a
few of the girls at the finish from uncontrollable fits of giggles, though not
before earning him the (hopefully temporary) nickname, "Cory Toner, Peek-a-boo
Boner"

Despite the overall frivollity of the moning, hashers made room for some
learning, and hashers new and old took turns sharing knowlege for the the
benefit of us all.

Planetary Science and Newtonian gravity were demonstrated by FFF and Spam
Jammer. Their display of how small objects will circulate around larger,
rounder ones (In this example, Magical Mastifbater) was far more entertaining
than my high school physics class.

In addition to being somewhat of an expert in Chemistry, "The Pickler" taught us
all a lesson in Music Appreciation. His operatic German aria brought tears to
Shandy Klaus's eyes, and even helped Paul Beddard find the answer to number 62
across.

Ettiquette is becoming a lost art in the modern world, but Tuna proved to be a
quick student. The importance of crossing one's legs while sitting down in a
short dress can not be underestimated!

Spamjammer, a bit of a rennaisance man, is not only a physics professor, he
provided hashers with a poem to muddle over, a slightly bastardized version of
which appears below.

Champagne Breakfast! The hashers did sing,
And the corks from the bottles did fling,
     But down in the crud,
     O,the black stinking mud,
Spammy, stuck in the river Kao Ping

Geography is a popular study here in Asia, with students memorizing countless
place names, rivers, and countries. Nipplicious' colorful display display
ensured that many on the hash will not soon forget the location of Coco Beach.

But perhaps the most memorable lesson of all was the Latin taught to Hashers by
the Unholy Bush Whacker. The word of the day? Pubis Mons, which means....um....
come out on the next hash, and she just might show you!

On On to more champagne!!

Hashers,
The best tri in Taiwan is coming up again. It`s Bao Lai time.
Date June 20th.
Entry forms are not out yet, but I have met with the organizer and they will be out soon.
Essentially the same format again.

After last year with a huge number of entries some people did not get in the race, even though they entered before the deadline. So, if you are interested you had better make up your mind.

The Kaohsiung Hash did well last year, coming 3rd in the team event, and doing pretty good in various categories, Only 1st place prize was awarded in the team event but this year there will be prizes down to 3rd place. I have been given 2 rafts, so we need a competitive boat and a fun boat. The girls also had a boat and I presume will be having another go this year.

So, those interested please let me know.
Any further details required contact me or the organizer   http://khhtri.org.tw/chn.asp

Hey Hashers,

As I sit recovering from a long night of drinking in Beijing, I wonder where
Spam Jammer ended up after this champange run, who led the way in the puke fest
that most undoubtedly followed the run this morning, and how many of you will
feel worse than I do when you wake up this afternoon.

We have a Friday night on March 20th, and I still don't have any hares for it.
I could hare this one if there is no one else, but I would prefer not to as I
need to prepare for a soccer match at KAS the next morning.

So let me know if you can hare this run!

Thanks.

Any run sandwiched between a Red Dress and Champagne run on the hash calendar is
bound to be an ugly stepsister of a run, and run 2121 proved to be a pretty tame
affair. Gone was the nudity, foul language, and dionysian drinking that have
plagued our little group. Nowhere to be seen were the obnoxious drunks,
unfortunate tattoos, and tormented newcomers. Hashers were treated to
wholesome good time. Warm sunny weather and a recycled but still very pleasant
trail, were followed by a tasty stir fry (not, thankfully, recycled) and salad.

Down-Downs were short, and so shall this write-up be! See you all tomorrow for
the Champagne run, with hashits carried once again by Flying Pizza and the Nips!

This Saturday, March 14th, will be the semi-annual Kaohsiung Hash House Harriers
Champagne Breakfast Run. We meet at the Grand Hotel, lower parking lot (to the
right as you come in) at 6:00AM!!! We will load onto a bus and head off out into
the country where we will do a very scenic and interesting trail. You can run or
you can walk. At the finish area we will serve a hot breakfast of scrambled
eggs, bacon, sausages and hash browns (eggs benedict have been scrapped, sorry
about the false advertising). Oh yeah, and of course CHAMPAGNE and orange juice!
There will be other less sparkling drinks available as well. After the breakfast
and our regular down downs, we will load back on the bus and go back to the
Grand Hotel.

The cost for the morning will be 800nt and that includes food, bus and drinks.
If you want to attend, email corytoner@... or text message 0926138585.
Please notify me by Thursday 12noon so we can buy the appropriate amount of food
and bus space.

If you have a hash name and say you are coming and don't show up, you are still
on the hook for 300nt, so don't turn off the alarm saturday morning!

And this time the head is going to keep his shorts on! Yes, it is that time
again, the spring time version of the champagne breakfast. This saturday, March
14th Spam Jammer and FFF will provide you with a great trail and a great
breakfast complete with everyone's favorite drink: champagne and orange juice.
We will again be doing a bus and everyone must take the bus, there will be no
car run. We will meet at 6am at the Grand and leave at around 6:10, we won't
wait for anyone. Also new for this one, in order to stop people from saying they
are coming and not showing up, meaning we have wasted money on a big bus and
food, if you say you are coming and don't show up you will still be charged your
regular 300nt run fee (and no you don't get credit for the run).

Let me know by Thursday noon if you are coming so we can order the bus and get
the right amount of food. corytoner@... or text me at 0926138585. This

Run Number: 2120: The Red Dress Run
Hares: Oral Fixation and Hairy Fucker
(Rum)Runners and (Street) Walkers: 5.5 K

Hollywood has its Oscars, Canada has the Junos (or is that the Genies?)and
Australia has.... Well, I don't know, but I'm sure it's glamourous and sparkly
and fabulous. Kaohsiung must content itself with the slighly less famous (or
would that be infamous) annual Red Dress Run.

Look out New York Fashion week! Hashers are stylin', and here we have our first
annual people's choice awards for the fantastic outfits we saw on hashers new
and old from across our fair city.

BEST MARILYN MONROE IMPERSONATION: Private Shit Blower, in a dress so low-cut it
would make J-Lo blush. The mock-belted waist and the flirty skirt made a few
hashers want to drag him over to the nearest air vent to see what was under that
skirt! Those who did see....it wasn't pretty!

BEST USE OF LADIES' LINGERIE: ET, with a garterbelt and fishnet ensemble that
showed off his ass-ets (and very colorful tattoo) while bending over the beer
cooler.

BEST PRINCESS: Man's Best Friend, whose long skirt and ornate embroidery made us
wonder why she left her tiara at home!

BEST POCKETS: Fantasy Friar Fuck, sporting pockets so huge they could carry
chalk, cards, a GPS.... or alternately, beer, beer and beer.

ARR... THERE'S A PIRATE AMONG US: Cum Shot, with dangling earrings, a rakish
goatee, and an even more rakish grin, resmebled nothing so much as a thief on
the high seas.... and with his short and strappy dress, we get a two-for-one on
Tinkerbell. Sightings of a ticking crocodile are being investigated!

BEST USE OF GLITTER: One can never have to much money... or too many sequins!
Friendly Pick-Up was looking more like a Fabulous Pick-Up, glittering in enough
sparkles to hide a beer cooler... or at least ET's tattoo.

BEST REVERSE DRAG: Many men came dressed in women's clothing, but only one girl
came dressed as a guy.... Nipplicious in her man's muscle shirt, so big it
looked like a dress. And she has photos of her man, too! She wants to show
them to you!!! Hey guys, stop and have a look! Guys? Guys???

BEST RECYCLING: Lawrence Of a Labia, way too tall to fit into Natural Orgasm's
clothes, had to improvise.... and managed to look amazingly presetable in a
dress made out of an old sweatshirt. One has to wonder what the cop he started
chatting to on the way thought of LOL's cute emsemble!

BEST "HARE" Midway through the run, Oral Fixation had an instant make over when
she suddenly appeared with brilliant red bob. The bunny ears and baby-doll
nightie she was sporting made the dirtier old men in our crowd wish for a fluffy
little tail to squeeze.

BEST GOTH LOOK: Harry Fucker, in a Vampira-inpired gown with an uneven hem and
bat-wing detailing in the sleeves. And I thought Bella Lugosi was dead...

BEST DISGUISE: Did you know who she was? The blonde in the short red trenchcoat?
I didn't recognize Love Juice until she removed the slick shades. This is the
outfit I wish I wore!

BEST RETRO LOOK: Or that could be, oldest retro look... straight off the set of
Little House on the Prairie came Talking Nightmare. However, it seems that the
normally stylish (loved the shoes!) Nightmare had 3 better dresses in the
closet, saved for a rainy day. Honey, it was pouring on Saturday night!

BEST DRESSED OVERALL: Or could that be best in show? In a handmade gown,
accesorized by two well dressed pooches, Horn Dog Dish owned the Red Dress
Run(way). Part French maid, part cosplay, and all sexy, HDD is sure to be the
target of many a fantasy in the steamy summer nights to cum......

Look for more messed-up, dressed-up fun with the hash in February 2010...

On-on!

~Nips~ (o)(o)

PS Welcome back, Pizza! Is it true you can make a red dress out of Tomato
sauce?

Attention Hares!

At the latest Mis Management meeting we decided that it would be
appropriate for the hares to make a post on this forum promoting their
next run.

If you are a hare for the next run please do the following:

1. Post about the run 5 days in advance (minimum)
2. Give details about the run:
- the area where the run will take place ( you can post the actual
starting place if you so desire)
- is the start scooter accessible or cars only?
- anything special about the run (patch, significant hare runs or
runs, food, etc)
3. Meeting time and place (usually the Grand Hotel)
4. Any thing else you think that will help promote your run.

Thanks!

On-on

A great Red dress run last night! Shortest down downs imaginable as ET
managed to bring them to a screaming halt(or shall we call that a
spewing halt)but maybe that was a good thing. I would like to thank
the hares for all the hard work they did and a great trail although I
may have been the only one who saw it. And congratulations to Love
Juice and Harry Fucker who were the only two hashers able to keep up
with the Head and survive the Head's challenge. On-on!

The hares are sooo busy getting a great time ready for saturday that
they don't have time to post the information about the run! This
Saturday is the second annual red dress run. The run start is DC
Stage so you can go straight there or to the grand hotel at 6:30pm.
We will have a beer there and then set off on trail (its about 4k
from DC to Lighthouse so be prepared for a bit of a real trail). Our
next pub will be the lighthouse, than Galley and Foster Hewitt's.
After foster Hewitt's we will do down downs and the official part of
the evening will come to an end.
Of course if you think that is the end of the night your nuts (of
course the red dress would have already given that away), following
down downs those who can still function will get on the MRT and head
down to Wufu 4th road to partake in the "HEAD'S CHALLENGE!". This
will be a different sort of marathon than the one in Tainan last
weekend. The goal will be to have a beer at every single sponsor pub
in one night. We'll see who can survive!

So, buy, borrow or sew a red dress and get ready to party! The run
fees will be 800NT and that includes run fees, a beer in each of the
four pubs on the pub crawl and a "SPECIAL SUPRISE!"

see you on saturday!

Taiwan Beer to flow freely on the mainland

Taiwan Beer, made by Taiwan's state-owned brewery, will be sold on the
mainland from May amid warming cross-strait ties. The Taiwan Tobacco
and Liquor Corp said the mainland's State Administration for Industry
and Commerce had registered its Taiwan Beer trademark and announced it
on its website, the Taipei-based Economic Daily News reported. The
beer is expected to generate revenue of between NT$2.6 billion
(HK$599.3 million) and NT$3 billion on the mainland this year,
equivalent to a 1 per cent share of the mainland beer market, Taiwan
Tobacco and Liquor chairman Duan Wei said. The company had planned to
target only the southeastern provinces of Fujian and Guangdong as the
customers there had similar tastes to the Taiwanese, Mr Duan said.
Taiwan Beer is likely to sell at 6 yuan (HK$6.80) to 10 yuan a bottle,
compared with 5 to 6 yuan for mainland brands, he said. AFP
