Every Sunday, starting this one (January 7th), Oxford Music Pub is
going to do the roast beef dinner. FFF and I have had their roast beef
for 2 years and both of us will tell you that it was GOOD! The dinner
will be 450NT with a small mug of beer and no service charge on
Sundays. For more details, Oxford's phone number is 532-3595.

Hello Hashers, at the last mis-management meeting we discussed the need
to clean up around the stash at the dick and cowboy. Well, this will
happen after the soup run on January 7th. Any and all help is
appreciated and unlike cooking of soup, too many cooks can't spoil the
broth.

Well Hashers, hope you had a nice Christmas and have a fun (and
safe) upcoming New Years. I also hope that these earthquakes stop, I
don¡¦t like them so much. Lots of things to talk about for the hash
these days. We are busy getting things ready for the 2000 run
celebration, it really isn¡¦t that far away now. We have been
getting responses from all over the world of hashers coming back for
it. Make sure you make it part of your plans. If you are looking for
a good time on New Years, Happy Hour and myself are going to do a
pub crawl around the Wufu area, come join us. We also have new pub
cards made up so get yours and before long you will be running for
free. Ask for one at the next run or come on Sunday on the pub crawl
and HH will give you one. We gave great sponsors but we need to go
there more often (ask fucker on the go, Busty paralegal or BBB how
good the Turkey at Focus was on Monday, and best yet, it was FREE!).
There are also new schedule cards available, ask at the next run or
pick them up at a sponsor pub. Our new webiste is starting to look
good and Stonker Donker has it pretty much up and running now so
check it out, kaohsiunghash.com

Our run schedule for January is jam packed with great runs. This
Friday will be the 5th trail for December and will be a great way to
start the weekend. The run following is one of my favorites, The
Family Soup Run. Bring a pot of soup, we will supply the spoon. It
is a potluck and you get to try many kinds of soup. Either way, a
great time.

Run #1993 Friday, December 29th ¡V Hares: Singing Shithead and easy
catch BBB.
Run #1994 Sunday, January 7th ¡V SOUP RUN Hares: FFF and Happy Hour.
Run #1995 Saturday, January 13th ¡V Hares: Bored Stiff.
Run #1996 Friday, January 19th ¡V Hares: Bored Stiff and Tripod.

Start: Big Temple just off of highway ten heading towards Morrison.

Finish: Same place as the start

    Distance: 3.5km

    hares: SSH and Shandy Claus

    3rd Timers Named:
    Kharunisa named Crash Course Counselor

    Becky named Natural Orgasm

    Highlights:
    Short trail through the bush.
Due to extreme stupidity on the part of SSH, FFF was able to make his
    first catch on the KHHH.
HBB was shagging Motorcycle Mama at the start, and finish.
Shandy Claus, a hare, had to follow FFF to the finish, because he
never saw the trail until he was running it, and he got tagged by our
    Fat Friendly Friend!

    Hashits:
Busty Paralegal retained the Ladies Hashit for her three weak nominations.

I can't remeber who got the men's hashit! But FFF should have if he
    didn't.

    Run Report for #1989

Name: A little bit of everything- Family X-mass Run

    Hares: SSH, FFF, FS

Start: Goose Temple (named after my dog Goose, who got lost on Trail
and was waiting at the start when we got back from the car run) Just
off of highway 1 near Gangshan.

Finish: Honey-man Temple named after the drunken Taiwanese Santa who
was giving out honeybees and honey, as well as fruit at the finish.

Trail: Strollers 4km – only two hashers
    	 Walkers 5.8km – about 25 hashers
    	 Runners 10km – about 6 hahsers.

MMB and Francis (Magical Howler) were the first into the finish just
minutes after SSH, followed by a gaggle of walkers about 15 minutes
later. The runners were a fair ways behind, due to the extra long
runners loop laid down by SSH. 70+ year old BOF led the way, busting
most checks, and bleeding from his leg as he ran in.

3rd Timers Named: Simon Ward – QPR (Quick Prophylactic Retriever)

    			 Eric Lu – Graphic Phobia

    			 Francis Potter – Magical Howler

Hashits: JJ nominated PPP for her potty mouth for the Ladies Hashit.

ABB nominated MMB for his parenting skills and being an inspiration
to us all for the men's Hashit.

    Highlights:
    - the Honey man giving out honeybees, fruit and cheer at the finish.
    - DDC giving himself a dd for finishing in his backyard

    Special Thanks To:

    1. Spamm Jammer, who is unable to run, and Wandering Wino who roasted
the turkeys for the hash. They were very delicious.
    2. Bad Yeast Rising for opening the D&C and preparing the mashed
    potatoes and getting set up.
    3. FFF for prying himself away from the DD's to go pick up the food
from Spammy's and help get the Dick ready. He also brought a
container of the food to Tainan for yours truly (SSH) so I wouldn't
miss out on the turkey dinner.
    4. Happy Hour for driving FFF around and helping out at the Dick.

    Run 1987 B.S.B.P. Run #2

Hares: Boerd Stiff and Singing Shit Head

Start: Parking lot behind Kaoshiung County Recreation Association,
between Chen Gong Hospital and Baseball Stadium

Finish: Bali Q Garden Restaurant on Yihua Rd.

    Trail: 9.5km

Hashers: BS, SSH,PDA,SD, Tuna, NTBH, BOF, FS, 3 first timers, BBB,BD,
    2 second timers.

Highlights: Twisting Trail through graveyards, rice paddies,
    abandoned houses, alleyways.
    - Stonker, looking for his third catch got completly lost and had to
run home to use the phone to find out where we finished.
    - The hares lost BOF on the car run and didn'trealize he was missing.
He parked 200m from the start, and ran around the baseball stadium
until finally running into the pack, who of course were off trail!
    - Upon reaching the finish Fishstick walked within 5 meters of the
hares who were in his line of sight out in the open and continued on
    past them
    - 2nd timer Eric and first timer Fiona, walked around the baseball
stadium three times looking for trail, they also got scared in the
graveyard and decided to turn back, the hares found them at the start
    on the car run.
    - First timer Ian ran the whole 9.5km in a pair of Flipflops!
    - Boered Stiff, being it was his Birhtday run bought copious amounts
of Tiger beer for down-downs, and then treated the entire hash
(including STT, and CBS who came just for the d-ds') to a very good
feed of Taiwanese food at the Bali Q outdoor restaurant.
    - BOF was pretty wasted, and I think he didn't remember where he
    parked his car.

Hashits: PDA gave the ladies hashit to Stonker Donker.
BS gave the men's hashit to Fishstick

We still have no hares signed up for some runs that are fast
approaching. The Christmas run on Sun Dec 3rd is still hareless, I and
possibly SH can do it if no one steps up this is less than ideal as we
both have class in Tainan at 1! We also need hares for Sat. Dec 23rd
and the soup run on jan 7th. Phone or email me, or just sign up on the

    Dear Hares,

As discussed at the recent Mis Management meeting, all hares are now
required to submit a RUN REPORT for the run they have hared. This is
retroactive to the beginning of November, 2006. There are two,
sometimes, three hares for each run so decide amongst yourselves who
will write the report and post it here.

    Basic Format is as Follows:
Subject Line: Run Report KHHH Run # 1234

    Body:
Name of Run, Hares, Distance in KM or Miles, Start of the Run, Finish
of the Run, Highlights of the Trail, Special Down-downs, and
Milestones(if you can remember). This info is required, any other
info you want to add is up to you.

Take a look at some of the run reports that were done years ago for
ideas on what was done in the past. Go to the links tab and check for
    run reports.

This will only take you as long as it took me to write this
    email....about 5 mins!

    Thanks.

Hey everyone, what a great time last night on the Halloween pub
crawl. Some great costumes, good down downs and lots of beer. All
good things. This is the run schedule for November; we have some
great trails coming up. Almost every run this month is a special
event. The family weekend away will be a fantastic time in a new
area for the KHHH. Bored Stiff and SHH will be marking trail and
celebrating BS¡¦s birthday on the 17th. The last run of the month is
the Champagne breakfast run, always one of the best runs we do!

November 4th, Run #1984. Hares: Happy Hour, PDA and FFF.

    November 11th & 12th, Family Weekend Away. Runs 1985 &1986. Hares:
    CBS & NTBH.

November 17th, Run 1987. Hares: Bored Stiff and Singing Shithead.

November 25th, Champagne Breakfast Run. Hares: NTBH and Stonker
    Donker.

December 3rd, Christmas Run. Run 1989. Hares: NO HARES YET!!

Most of the December runs do not have hares. Sign up on the web site

    Oh my god,

I am so damn envious!  You all get Pizza and Spam Jammer on a run together.  If I could blink twice (or is it click my heels?) I would be there in a heartbeat downing some Taiwan pijou and giving some badass down downs.  ON ON to you all and I hope you have some crazy runs and even better down downs.  When is the last time we had naked hares running around at the Grand Hotel???  It is about time for that to happen again!!  Give him a HER!

Hey hashers, the note is a little late, but we've got a special run
tonight, the prodigal return of a notorious hasher, infamous even.
Flyping Pizza is back on the hash. I have spoken with Spam Jammer, and
I rarely have seen him in such a state of elation. It would make a
great run tonight if everyone can come out and welcome back the Pizza.
You should find the run an interesting one, flashlights are DEFINITELY
needed! See you tonight! ON ON hashers!

Please voluntarily enter your information so those hashers that
constantly lose their phone, and with it all their contact
information, can recover at least some of their lost numbers!

Summer time, being as f%$#&ing hot as it is, the trails are considerably
    shorter. Walkers trail
should be no more than 4.5 km. Runners trail can be longer, but are usually no
    more than
    7km.

Sunday Runs are adult only runs, as are the rest of our summer time runs.

Family runs resume with the 33rd Anniversary Run on September 3rd.

So, no need to worry about getting caught out in this heat on a horribly long
    trail! (Unless of
course the hares do not follow these rules, in which case they will be punished
    accordingly)

Kaohsiung hashers from the 90's era will be saddened by the news that
Rupert Bale (Duncemaster) was killed in a skiing accident in Canada
recently. Rupert had over 200 runs with KHHH, 18 of them hare runs.
His wife, Alida Droppert (Bear Back), can be reached via e-mail at:

In these dark, cold and wet Wintery days, it is understandable that
we may get the blues from time to time. The stresses and pressures of
work add further to our gloomy disposition. It is only natural that
we seek the warmth and comfort of whatever light we may find.

Sometimes the light comes to us – as it did recently to the Hash. And
the Hash, being the solid citizens that we are, feel it is not right
that we hog all of this light ourselves, and therefore endeavor
below, to share with you some of the warmth that this shaft of watery
    light has brought us.

Lets call it: Hares fleeing and granny's peeing.

On a recent night run, through an area of Kaohsiung one might
describe as rural-urban, the trail crossed over a few rice paddies,
and then came up a short slope into an alley - dead-ended at one end
by a warehouse of some description. The elaborate security measures
of the aforementioned warehouse included a motion-activated security
light, the wattage of which seemed to roughly equate that of a WW2
searchlight. So it was that four hashers – Spam Jammer (not a tiny
new Yorker), Not your Normal Knockers (be it day or night, they a not
normal), and two other Hashers of the expat variety, moved through
the rice paddies and up into the alley, thereby triggering the
    security light.

While the four hashers, mentioned previously, were obviously startled
by their sudden illumination, their surprise was Lilliputian compared
to the degree of angst that suddenly befell the poor granny, who was -
up till that moment - enjoying the relief and pleasure one derives
from peeing in a darkened ally. The startled octogenarian's degree of
consternation was further multiplied, as her furtive glance over her
shoulder revealed the presence of four foreigners, standing virtually
    in her rapidly spreading puddle.

In a hormonal frenzy that would impress many a kinesiologist, the
fight or flight reaction set in and she took off down the formally
darkened alley, in a manner which may just put Marion Jones to shame –
bearing in mind her drawers were still around her knees. She
appeared to also provide commentary on her progress - at maximum
volume. Last but certainly not least; in an admirable display of
fortitude and a determination to get the job done, she did not stop
    peeing either!

The mind boggles with the possibilities:

    · Possibly a cure for constipation.

    · Possibly a demonstration sport at the next Olympics – The
    squat/pee/sprint (or Splash'n'dash for short).

Ah! Another of those Hash moments.
