Subject: [kaohsiunghash] Hash Photos
Hello hashers. What a great hash weekend we had with our first ever
red dress run and then a great family run today. Nice work to
everyone involved, both events were well done. This message is sort
of a reminder to hashers that we have a photo album here on our
website for hash pictures. This, not facebook, should be the
official place to put run photos. Does that mean I am asking people
not to take/post hash photos on facebook, no of course not. I just
ask that we censor what we put on facebook more than we are at the
moment. The hash is a group where we relax and have fun and
sometimes that fun carries us to places that aren¡¦t really
appropriate for photos that are as readily available for all to
view. I want to keep this part of the hash; I don¡¦t want people
scared of having fun in case it ends up on facebook for all the
world to see. On my facebook list I have relatives, aunt¡¦s, uncles,
co-workers, friends of all kinds and even nieces and nephews. It is
a great way for me to keep in touch with people back home. I love it
when pictures of me having a good time and doing really cool things,
like the hash, are posted up there, it gives people a real
opportunity to see how great my life is in Taiwan. But, I think all
of us can realize that some pictures we probably don¡¦t want FFF¡¦s
niece and nephew to see. Lets keep those kind of pictures for our
own hash website where at least a person has to make a real effort
to try and access photos. I hope everyone understands my view on
this and no one takes offense, and please everyone, keep taking and
posting photos!
