This Group is intended for windsurf (a.k.a. sailboarding) enthusiasts in the Kansas City area so they can exchange information.

Any member can make contributions to the site such as send messages, report a good wind forecast, add pictures, mark the calendar with events, add your favorite links, indicate if you have equipment for sale or buy, or simply try to get a partner to go windsurfing if the day is too nice to go to work. "One bad day of windsurf is better than one good day in the office", so get your priorities straight, forget about mowing the lawn or repairing the kitchen sink and let's go windsurfing.

Starting in 2008, new Wigger members(*) will have FREE access to beginner windsurf equipment that can be checked out and taken home for a month. Not the newest stuff but it can get you started. Send a message to the board if interested to know details.

(*) Wiggers is a reserved place at Pomona Lake where most of us windsurf and/or camp. You can use the loan equipment there or any other lake in the area of your choice.
