Do you want to...
- exercise without joint stress?
- improve or learn a swimstroke?
- train for a biathlon or triathlon?
Join the Kanata Masters Swim Club, a member club of Masters Swimming Ontario (MSO). We swim September to June, 1-3 times a week, at the Kanata Wave Pool, 70 Aird Place, Kanata.
Tuesday and Thursday 9:15-10:15 p.m.; and Sunday 8:00-9:15 a.m.
The hot tub and sauna are available after all sessions.
2008-09: (3 separate 'seasons')
FALL: SEP. 7 to NOV. 20
no-swim: Thanksgiving--OCT. 12
WINTER: NOV. 23 to FEB. 19
no-swim: DEC. 23 to JAN. 1
SPRING: FEB. 22 to JUNE 21
no-swim: March Break---MAR. 17 and 19; Easter---APR. 12; Victoria Day--MAY 17
no-swim: POOL SHUTDOWN---MAR. 24 through APR. 12
Our members have a range of speed and ability and our coach sets workouts for each of the 5 lanes.
COACH: We are delighted to have Kelly Robertson back again! Her dynamic and effervescent style make the sessions 'fly'.
TRY IT: Stop by the pool before one of our sessions, sign the waiver, pay $5 and get in the pool! The $5 is applied to your membership when you join.
FEES: Our year is divided into 3 seasons: FALL, WINTER and SPRING (see above):
Membership fees are based on the number of swims per week: 1 swim = $75; 2 swims = $120; 3 swims = $158. (Yes, those are decreases from last year!)
PLUS: MSO (Masters Swimming Ontario) annual membership fee = $35. (Yes, that is an increase of $10 from last year!)

Joel, If you want to drop in for a trial swim, meet our coach and try our club, it is just $5. We are at the Kanata Wave Pool Tuesday and Thursday evenings
