Guys i saw the fight card here> http://64.ufc.com. vote goes to
Frankieboy and sherk. im interested in the undercards as well.
here are some of my picks:
Cheick Kongo Vs. Carmelo Marrero: Kongo
Spencer Fisher Vs. Dan Lauzon: Fisher, but it will be a good fight.
Keith Jardine Vs. Mike Nickels: Jardine should win this one easily.
Yushin Okami Vs. Kalib Starnes: Okami will win when Kalib submits after
stubbing his toe.
I think mixing guys who are very experience with would be too much
of a disadvantage to people just beginning.
I like this season 4. Hopefully they will have a season like this
and a season with newbies.
It seems like the MMA is becoming too bottle neck in styles. Kind
of a mistake. Everyone does BJJ and Tai with some boxing and some
wrestling take down. You'd think that more fighters would add more
judo than what is used right now. It really stuns a lot of guys.
I'd like to see some fast kung fu punching forms in there as well.

Hey Bradda!
There has got to be a ton of schools in the San Diego area. Google search
Grandmaster Ron Pierce since I think he is in that area. I will see him next
weekend and find out where his school is in case you don't find it on google. Or
what schools are in that area. Have you been to the schools page at
www.kajukenbo.org? That is another good resource!
I'll see what I can find out for you in addition. Happy hunting!!!

Hey bradda's, I'm looking for a Kajukenbo school near Independence, Mo.
and in the San Diego area. If anyone does know of any schools in these
locations please feel free to hit me up! I'm having such a hard time to
train but, no one to train with....Thanks, Mahalo...
Thanks George,
Excellent video clips and description. I appreciate you sharing this with
your fellow Kajukenboists. Great for people who aren't able to be in a martial
art long enough for all those pinions, katas, etc. to flow naturally.
Thanks Ed,

Unfortunately I don't. However, he is still in Oakland so you should

Hey Justin (and James, as I think you both will get this).
Unfortunately there are no Kajukenbo schools in Michigan currently
that I am aware of, and certainly no WHKD schools. I almost went to U
MIch for my graduate studies...so there would have been one, but alas
I am starting my first year at UNC instead.
Well I have had my first class under Sifu Mark Moy. I do like Sifu
Moy, but i think he is lacking in order...In the sense that there is
no formallity in it. Maybe it was my little time in Kenpo that made me
like formality. I just feel a little disapointed about that. I just
like the dicipline in MA. I feel that there is little respect in a
sense for him with his younger students, fresher students. I am no
veteran by any means. But I believe formaility has its place and
generates a little more respect with the Sifu. Other thing is that I
feel he pays attention , but he lets the people make some mistakes. I
understand you can't get it every time, but to correct them when he is
looking at them is also a part of it. I understand his point of view,
everyone adds there own flavor to the mix. But to much flavor spoils
the mix.... I personally would like to see more structure. Maybe its
the training method of Kajukenbo or it's more in place at his higher
level classes. But next time I will ask him about it and see what he
comes up with.

Greenman,
Sifu Moy is a fantastic instructor. You are lucky to have found him.
Several of my former students train with him, since I moved. He is also
a great Tai Chi instuctor, to improve your Kajukenbo you should do his
Tai Chi program as well. I have nothing but good to Say about Sifu Moy.
Thanks for the inquirery.
Bast Wishes for your training,
Sifu Mark Casey

I understand there is alot of note taking and research. and talking
with my upline and my Sifu. Is there anything in writing where I can
get forms, step by step etc.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Tom
Thank you Anthony,
I am old and crazy too, plus I have an iguana [if that counts as a dragon].
Sifu Allen Garcia down here in San Jose has also contacted me....I'm planning on
seeing him tonight. If you don't mind, I'll hold onto your address as another
contact and fellow crazy dragaon. Hopefully we'll meet in the near future. And
Thank you again for taking the trime to contact me.
Sincerely and respectfully,
Ed Piepenbrink

I am an Old Crazy Dragon you might want to come up to Union City and
train at the Dragons Den. They have very strong principles in Kajukenbo,
Emperados method.
Or I beleive we have some people down around Milpitas training Roger Villanueva
and some others.
