Hey Friends and Instructor,
I would like to know if there are members of this group from Miami,
Florida, and if so I would like to know the name and location where
instructions and training can be recieved. Your assistance will be
greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,

I recently had a student bring in a friend for a private class in Tai
chi and Kajukenbo principles. He lives in the DC area and would like
to continue this type of training. If anyone knows of an instructor
in that area that teaches Tai chi please post the info and I will
forward it on.
Thanks
Sifu Casey
Just a Reminder, Sifu Cropper's Mighty River Classic is on Saturday
Oct 16th. This is a great tournament. Looking forward to seeing
everyone there!

Hello Michael,
Thanks for posting the info. Maybe we can get some Artists from out
of town to come in and support Kajukenbo. Sifu Cropper has
tremendous knowledge. Have fun in your training.

Hello, my name is Michael, I am a white belt under Sifu Rick Cropper
in Portland Oregon. Some people may know this already, but for
anyone who doesn't know, Sifu Cropper is holding a tournament on Oct
16th. There is more info on it at this site:

slots filled, but if you are interested, it never hurts to check.
Anyways, it is cool to find a group on the internet for Kajukenbo,

Hey Crystal,
All is well here. Students are doing great, but still don't get too many in the
classes though. That's ok. I would rather have few dedicated students than
alot of students that are just there to be there.
I will start by saying that rank means nothing really. Of course, it is nice to
get rank, for yourself and your Sifu, but don't put too much mental focus on
that goal. The real goal is self improvement. With that said, I will address
your question further. Practice, Practice, Practice, and then more Practice.
Try to take your techniques to more of a real level. Truly think about mock
situations when performing them, whether it be Forms, techniques, sets, falls,
rolls, etc. When you are rolling, imagine that there is a threat that deems it
necessary to perform the roll - the actually threat is up to you - put full
INTENTION into it. That goes the same for all practice. If you practice just
to try to remember the moves it will never become part of you. You must "feel"
the situation and the actions that you face and perform.
Basically what I am saying is don't just go through the motions, mentally put
yourself in the situaitons. That will bring about a more solidified response.
The actual sets of techniques will come through the continued practice, then the
actual techniques will leave again, but that is even more complex so I won't get
into that now.
Well, I need to get going. I hope that helped some. I could go on and on, but
don't want to overwhelm you. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Oh,
there is a seminar in Seattle on September 11th for only $25. If you are
interested in attending, let me know and I will reserve a spot for you and get
you the info.

I don't want to disappoint Sifu David...I know he would like to

Thank you for the confirmation of my msg subject. I received this
message on a filipino martial arts group that I belong to and when I
saw the message, was taken aback and needed confirmation. We still
have a small Kajukenbo group here on Guam that was started with
Sigung Frazier and before I told the blackbelts from his teachings, I
wanted to confirm this.
Thanks again for confirming the msg subject.

Sijo Adrianno Emperado, Co-Founder of Kajukenbo, DID NOT PASS AWAY.
He is very alive and well. Currently he is in another state visiting
a high level Kajukenbo Instructor along with his personal bodyguard.

I was looking at the cards Dan gave me in Vegas last month. I gave
you the wrong email address. It should be: monekita98@... .
He was in Saudi Arabia, but he said his company sent him back to the
states because of the threat to Americans in the middle east. He's
in the Las Vegas area now, but I didn't get a chance to get a new
address or phone number from him.

I did see Dan this weekend and mentioned you were looking for him.

Greetings from Guam,
I am asking to see if anyone has heard from Sigung Daniel Frasier? I
trained with him from the early 90's until he left island in 95.. I
also had the opportunity to meet Sifu Tony Bowles when he came out

I liked the Kajukenbo training that Sifu Dan taught as it reminded me
