My family tree goes from Sijo Emperado to the late GM Joe Halbuna to GM Bob
Maschmeier. The system I learned had been changed from student to teacher and is
not the same as the original method, its more
advanced as it has grown and adopted movements from even more systems. However,
I am training with two of the late GM Alejo Rayes's students, Prof's John Bishop
and Mitch Powell.

I am glad to be part of the A.D. Emperado family!!! Like my Sifu
says, "Our goal is to inflick pain!!" I agree with her 100%. Don't
mess with us!!! Also, I blessed to have my dad as a black belt who has
trained since he was 11 years old, and have gotten the opportunity to
work with Bruce Lee's cousin down in West Oakland, Ca. during the 70's.
Renee"
