Norsewolf7777,You're absolutely right my friend.Life doesn't end
at 53,or in my case 56. I have a little more kicking and punching
left in me.Although I have had to tone down the way I work out.
I am somewhat in the same fix as you,in that I am very much interested
in the Art of Kenpo/Kajukenbo but have no formal training in those arts.
I'm located in the beautiful state of South Carolina out in the boon docks
and the only martial arts schools in my area are designed for kids and
tournaments. At my age,I'm mostly into self defense now,and that's why
I choose Kajukenbo in this stage of my developement. The TKD I learned
years ago from a Master Instructor doesn't fit my present body conditions,
for injuries and old age is creeping in.I like to keep my feet on the ground
now and those beautiful TKD side kicks just don't measure up any more.
Good luck in your search for finding Instruction in Kajukenbo.
-Randy Sutton.
