Howzit going everyone in the Kajukenbo World. On Saturday the 28th we
got news that Professor Curtis Arrayan of Wahiawa, Hawaii has passed
away at his home. Professor Arrayan was just recently here Portland,
Oregon to train with his son Sigung Curtis Arrayan Jr. and our class.
He will be missed by all of us who was fortunate enough to know this
ledgend of Kajukenbo. Professor Arrayan was the last of the first
Black Belts that trained under Sijo Emperado in the early 1950's.
Professor Arrayan's "one crack medavac" philosphy will never be
forgotten by any of his students. Our condolences go out to the
Arrayan family and friends.

Aloha,
Sibak Norio Colipano
