Many thanks to Tom and Kev who have done a lot of work with the seeding, pools,
and scheduling. The full schedule will be emailed later on Friday, and/or
available when you get to the tournament.
There will be a short captain's meeting at 8:40 for all those who are there to
go over any queries, but I hope to get most of the essential information out by
Friday afternoon.
Games on Saturday will be 40 mins. The last game will finish around 1930, and
after that there will be a game of the GB Under 17 Open team against the GB
Junior Open 2nd team. If you are in those teams make sure you are around to
play, as it will be your only chance before going to Slovakia! There may also be
meeting of/with the GB Junior Open team, and coaches etc who are accompanying
the other GB Squads to Slovakia. So if any of that could apply to you, stay
tuned.
The burning question for most of you at the moment is what time is your first
game on Saturday:
0900: AirBadgers 1, Spartans, CT1, JHS, Arctic 2, Gladiators, Kent, Arctic 78,
Discy Business, Arctic 11, AirBbadgers 2, Manor
0945: Ocelots 1, Stag, NCHammer, Arctic 13, Rhinos, Mongooses, Arctic 1,
AirBadgers 3, SWC, Ocelots 2, Thundercatch, FuHuRoNo
1030: Aviators, Evolution, GBWomen,
1115: Coaches
There will be no time outs in games on the Saturday as they are so short. Draws
will be allowed, so when the hooter goes, catch the disc, the game is over, and
get off the pitch straightaway as there is very little time between games.
Sunday games will be an hour and most (if not all) will be over by 4:30, except
the final which will be done by 5:30.
