Howdy Y'all
 
Following on from my previous email a couple of weeks ago: there will be a training/selection in Oxford on 31st May for those U20s who would like to be considered for the GB2 U20 team which will be representing in Slovakia on July 3-7th.  This is a good chance to play at an International level, particularly for those who narrowly missed selection for the Vancouver team, but also for those players who were unable to make previous GB Juniors trainings but are interested and feel their game is strong.
 
I appreciate that many of you will have exams hanging over your head around this time, so it is on just the Saturday (11 - 4).  If anyone wishes to come up on the Friday night let me know and I'll help you out with accommodation - it will either be staying on a student's floor or a cheap hostel.  I've tried to make it as central as possible for everyone - I'm conscious that players, from teams like Air Badgers, have miles to come.  If getting to Oxford is an issue, again let me know and I'll see if I can Jim'll fix it!  Let me put it another way, if you're at training you've got a much better chance of being picked :-).  If you can't make it for whatever reason, can you let me know too.  I am keen to get as many players as possible to the practice, so if you're a junior (or not) in the area and wish to come along for the extra training, you're very welcome. 
 
At this stage I do not have a confirmed training location, but watch this space, I'm on it! 
 
Help me out.  If you're a junior, and you want to come, email me (fatmaude@...) or txt/call me (077 360 360 94).  If you're a club coach and have players who you feel should be considered, let me know.

PPS.  Can I also take this opportunity to ask if there are any teachers out there who have some Ultimate Lesson plans they can share (Kev Lowe has been exceptionally helpful so far), as I'm teaching some teachers in Kent soon.  I'm looking forward to giving some teachers a taste of their own medicine!
