More concrete details will indeed be published shortly.

In the meantime I need to settle a final date - 2 people have told me which
weekend is more favourable to them, if you have any strong feeling either way,
let me know.

I will add that I make no promises, and will also be checking if a particular
date is better for me, my other school commitments, and the venue, and those
helping me organise and run it...

But I'lll try to please as many people as possible!

Once back at school next week, I'll be back with a date and the details.

We are pleased to announce that the 2008 National Junior Outdoors will be
hosted in Birmingham on June 21/22 or June 28/29. Many thanks to the 4
excellent bids we received this year, and also to the members of the junior
bids forum who had the difficult task of choosing between the bids. We are
sure this will be the biggest ever junior outdoors and hopefully the most
successful (just need slightly better weather than last year). We look
