Firstly, I've forgotten to tell everyone to bring their pennies because
Lookfly will have a stall there for both days selling discs, shirts, hacky
sacks, etc. There will also be our healthy, fairtrade, organic tuck shop as
always selling sandwiches, pizza, ethical chocolate and drinks, etc. Feel
free to bring your own packed lunches but be warned that anything visible in
your bags could be nicked by our resident 3 year old who eats pretty much
anything he can find (but is supposed to be veggie).

Junior Women's Indoor Championships start at 10am on the Saturday. Please do
not arrive before 09:30. Format should be round robin with first game
between CT1 and Ocelots. The GB Uni team (Great Balls of fire???) won't play
before 11:20 and Thunderbirds first game will be at 12. Other than that, I
don't know the schedule yet. Games will be over by 5pm. It looks like we
have the following teams playing...

Catch Those 1
Catch Those 2
Ocelots
Artic
Thunderbirds
Great Balls of Fire

Still need to hear if we have a combination team from Linz's team,
Psychedelic Rhinos and Brighton. There's plenty more space. After the round
robin, every team will have a final game. All matches will be played on the
big pitch, 18 minute games. new pull rule are in operation, so get that pull
to reach the opponent's endzone at a catchable height or have your opponents
middle the disc and bring it up a third of the pitch. There will be a couple
of demonstration games during the day, one possibly involving U17s girls,
the other being GBJW - James and Gemma will be sorting these out. Trophies
are available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Spirit.

The junior development tournament begins on Sunday morning at 9am. Please do
not arrive before 8:30. Captain's meeting will be at 8:50. Games will be
over by 5pm. The following teams have confirmed...

Ocelots 1,2,3,4
Artic 1,2,3,4
Catch Those 1,2
Caldey Grammar 1,2
Aviators
Gruft
Grizzly Grove Deeds

Still space for one more team. Waiting to hear if Upton or Bishops have a
team. Would be nice to have 16 teams otherwise the coaches may have to form
a team and pick up the youngest players to help them. With 16 teams there
will be 4 pools of 4 (assuming Ocelots and Artic split evenly, there will be
one of each per pool). Then 16 team knockout with everyone playing exactly 7
games in the day. Games will be just 14 minutes long with a minute between
games. New pull rules, but remember it's a development tournament with lots
of beginners who don't know the rules. Be prepared to explain rules, not
call rules when not necessary, and be open to explanations yourself! No
zones on the small pitches, and no blatant off-man poaching by the GB
players (but lazy D by coaches is perfectly acceptable). No trophy for the
winning team, only trophies for most improved team, most valuable player
(could be beginner or experienced) and Spirit.

Directions to Bishop Heber High School (Chester Road, Malpas, Cheshire. SY14
8JD)

From South, come off M6 at junction 10a taking the M54.

Off at junction 3 and head North on A41 towards Chester.

After bypassing Whitchurch (still on A41) continue heading towards Chester.

Ignore first sign to Malpas

At roundabout on A41 (5 miles North of Whitchurch, 12 miles South of
Chester) with Market House pub on left, turn left.

Continue along this road for a mile until you see school on right.

From the North, head down the M53 towards Chester. Stay on the M53 as it
becomes the A55, but take next exit off signed Chester and Whitchurch.

Turn right at roundabout towards Chester, then first left onto A41.

At next roundabout (called Sainsbury's roundabout) take first left on A41
towards Whitchurch

After 8 miles, go straight over roundabout (Broxton).

After a further 4 miles, turn right at the roundabout with Market House pub
in front.

Continue along this road for a mile until you see school on right.

Any problems, email or phone me!

Kevin.
