Junior Ultimate,
hope you're all well. As I've only come into this role in the last few days, I haven't been able to co-ordinate any official trainings or trials as of yet. I'm also a second year University student and I'm trying to find employment so I can finance this little sojourn! Basically, I need to work around this or I'm homeless, so bare with me. I'm hoping to run closely with the other GB Junior squads this year in terms of training locations as to make it easier for everyone to try out at varying levels of GB Juniors.
In 2006, the GB Junior Open squad locked horns with the best Junior Open teams from around the world in Boston, including a show from the North Americans. We had some positive results at that tournament, sending a team that had never been complete until we actually arrived at the tournament! Regardless, we outperformed ourselves and earned a respectable 5th place finish. This summer, the core of that 'Boston' squad attended EUC2007 and won the silver medal. This season, we are going to beat these achievements. In recent years, GB Junior Open has struggled on the World stage - this year is going to be different. It will take a lot of hard work from everyone involved, but I am confident that our thriving Junior scene can cultivate a fantastic team.
If you're interested to know more about GB Junior Open, or would like to ask a question about what skills you should be working on or what training you should be doing, feel free to e-mail me (

See you soon,
