Accommodation will be in manchester-based players houses on friday and saturday nights. This is however limited, so it is advised that teams who can should travel on the saturday morning (start times can be set back if need be, the halls are booked all day), and relatively local teams should look to travel home on the saturday night. Apologies for any inconveniece caused.
If there is any problem with staying in houses, there are various hotels and hostels nearby, a list of which can be found at:
If prices seem high, I'm sure many of the hostels will be able to make provisions for reduced prices, for example weekend discounts or group bookings.
For teams who need accommodation on the Friday night, the meeting place will be 'The Phoenix' (sponsors of University of Manchester Ultimate), a restaurant/bar on Oxford road, at anytime after 8.15 pm. From there teams will travel to their allocated houses. Bring sleeping bags/roll mats etc as sleeping will be mostly on floors.
Map of Sports Hall:
the hall is number 30 on the map.
The best way to come by car would be to enter Manchester on the Mancunian Way, and exit at Upper Brook Street, heading south and taking the first right onto Grosvenor Street.
Please reply to jacko_88@... , indicating number of teams (1st, 2nd team etc), predicted number of players, accommodation needs (e.g. friday/saturday night, whether can stay in houses or not) and confirmation that a cheque has been sent.
