The UKUA Ladder League is now up and running to encourage teams to play more
throughout Winter. Any matches between teams can be recorded, and league
position reflects activity as much as the results. Matches can be between
junior teams which will result in points scored for the junior ladder and
open ladder, or against uni/open/mixed/women's teams which scores just for
the open ladder. Just go to http://www.regionalultimate.co.uk/index.php and
register your team, then either contact a local team for a fixture, or go
along to one of the many casually organised days in your area. Have a look
at the teams map for a nice google earth based interactive map (bit flashier
than my junior map at
http://www.ukultimate.com/wmslib/Juniors/junior_map.html) showing all the
currently registered teams.
