On Saturday October 14th, we are planning on holding the first ever junior
women's indoor nationals. The one day tournament will take place at Bishop
Heber High School, Chester Road, Malpas, Cheshire. Games will begin at 11:00
and continue until about 5pm, depending on how many teams enter. The cost of
the tournament will be just £30 per team. Games will be played on a large
indoor pitch with no walls and deep endzones. So far, we have had interest
from Deva (Chester), Mowers/Catch Those combo (Birkenhead), Torquay Grammar
School/Devon Ultimate (2 teams) and Ocelots (2 teams). We have space for
more teams and would hope to have a Leeds/Sheffield girls team, York and
possibly some GB Junior women from Midlands/South East. If you are
interested, then please email me soon. If you only have a few players
(Arthur Terry?) or are just an individual with no team, please contact me
and we can arrange a team for you to play with. Accommodation (floorspace)
is available and local youth hostels are fairly close.

On Sunday October 15th at the same venue, we are hosting a one day junior
development tournament. Games will start at 10:00 to go on until around 5pm
and will be played in the split hall (2 pitches). The tournament is aimed at
bringing in more beginners and younger players. Teams may only have a
certain number of experienced players on the pitch (number and experience
still to be decided, but like last year, trophies will be awarded for
spirit, improvement and development rather than winning the tournament). The
cost will be just £20 per team and interest has already been received from
Mowers (2 or 3 teams), Catch Those (2 teams), Kings, Queens, Catholic High,
and possibly Bishops all in Chester, Ocelots (3 teams), Arthur Terry (2
teams). Additionally, all teams competing in the junior womens tournament
the day before are invited to play and pickup any male juniors too if they
