Ok Pards its all set. The first offical like practice will be May 31st from 6-8 PM I also have the range reserved for June 14th & 28th if it looks like we are going to have good turn outs then we can add dates from there.
So see y'all next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buckskin John
This Sundays shoot will be a "postal match" We will be sending in the
times so we can see where we rank across the country. The stage is
fast and fun. Bring lots of lead and we will shoot til we drop.
Hope to see y'all there HAPPY FATHERS DAY PARDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a little worthless info, if you look at the bottom of the main
page here in the user group you will notice that we are intering into
our 4th year as a club. I just want to thank everyone that has helped
keep this shooting sport going strong!
Looking forward to many more years of this too !!!!!!!
Maybe we need a camera and tripod. I don't think many entries are in yet because my 38 second Double Duelist (they made it a separate catagory) would have placed me 2nd (out of 3 ha ha ) I could be the only one in Frontier Cartridge Duelist and that would get me a first place. Only seven clubs have reported in so far.
Hello All,
I just got in at Outdoor Headquarters a brand new Norinco 87W 12ga
Lever Shotgun. After a bit of anguish, I've decided I can't keep it
for myself (got kids going to college ya'know) so I'll be putting it
out for sale. Price is $480 total for Posse members who get first
dibs. If you're interested stop by the store and ask to take a
gander.

Buying a Bra
Author unknown
I ain't much for shopping,
Nor even going to town.
Except at cattle-shipp'n time,
I ain't easily found.
But the day came I had to go,
I left the kids with Ma.
But before I left she asked me,
Would you pick me up a Bra?
Without think'n I said," sure".
How tough could that job be?
I bent down and kissed her,
Said," I'll be back by three".
When I done the things I needed,
I started to regret.
Ever offer'n to buy that thing,
I was work'n up a sweat.
I crossed over to the ladies shop,
With my hat pulled over my eyes.
I ain't taken no chances
On being recognized.
I walked up to the sales clerk,
I didn't hem nor haw.
I told the lady straight out,
"Ma'am I want to buy a bra".
From behind I heard some snickers,
So I turned around to see.
They's at least a dozen women in the store,
And they's all ah gawk'n at me!
"What kind would you be look'n for?"
Well, I just scratched my head.
I'd only seen one kind before
"Thought a bra was a bra", I said.
She gives me a disgusted look,
"Well sir that's were you're wrong".
Come with me, I heard her say,
Like a dog I tagged along.
She took me down this alley,
Where the bras were on display.
Well, I thought my jaw would hit the floor,
When I seen that lingerie.
They had all these different styles,
That I'd not seen before.
I thought that I'd go crazy,
Fore I left that women's store.
There's bras you wear for eighteen hours,
And bras that cross your heart.
There was bras that lift and separate,
And that was just the start.
They had bras that made you feel,
Like you weren't wear'n one at all.
And bras that you can train in,
To start off in when you're small.
Well' I finally made my mind up,
Picked a lacy one.
I told the lady,
"Bag it up", figure'n like I was done.
Then she asked me for the size,
I didn't hesitate.
I knew the measurement by heart,
" A six-and-seven-eighths".
" Six and seven eighths sir,
That really isn't right".
Oh, yes ma'am I am positive,
I measured them last night.
I thought that she'd go into shock,
Must'a took her by surprise.
When I told her that my wife's bust,
Was the same as my hat size.
That's what I used to measure with,
I figured it was fair.
But if I'm wrong I'm sorry ma'am,
This drew another stare.
By now a crowd had gathered,
And They's all crack'n up.
When the lady asked to see my hat,
To measure for the cup.
When she finally had it figured,
I gave the gal her pay.
Then I turned to leave the store,
I tipped my hat and said, good day.
My wife had heard the story,
For I ever made it home.
She had talked to several women,
Who had called her on the phone.
She was still a laugh'n,
But shucks now, I didn't care.
For she don't ask and I don't shop,
For women's underwear.
Sounds great. do you have a current web site?

Tanya,
I have the results of the July 16 match and will try to get them to you or Kirk sometime tomorrow.
I am doing the JRPC newsletter on aug 1. The last results I have are the
May shoot. Can someone send me the june & july stuff before that.
Please reply to the group if you can help so we don't get multiple people
doing the same thing. Thanks.

Howdy all,
I am still learning my way around Juneau and would like to get in on
some of the fishing before the season ends. Does anyone know of a
where a guy can fish without a boat? That is, some place I can fish
from shore for Dollys or salmon?
Hoss
Well, Hoss, my brother had really good luck fishing off the point at
Point Louisa (the point at the north end of Auke Rec area). I'm told
people also have pretty good luck at False Outer Point on North
Douglas.

I have the stages posted in the file part of the user group. there
will be 3 fun stages this month so lets have some fun. And as always
if you know of any new shooters bring them along for a good time too.
For you "gun fighters" I think these are all "friendly"
Buckskin John
Thanks for the information. Do you know what your brother was using for bait/lures at Point Louisa? I just might try my luck this Saturday!
