The structure consists of a modified grain silo complete with an entryway, wood stove, kitchen and sleeping bunks. The skiing terrain is excellent and is located directly above the hut. Also its high elevation means great snow and great views.-----USE----- For details about visiting the hut please email jughandlehutinfo@yahoo.com. -----BACKCOUNTRY TRAVEL-----Guided trips are not available. Backcountry skiing is inherently dangerous all hut visitors are responsible for their own backcountry safety and route finding so be prepared and make sure to call the Payette Avalanche Center's Avalanche Advisory Hotline before your trip: (208)634-0409 or visit them on the web by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
