  Just thought I'd remind everyone of the state of JP pickup. We can't play at Downes field or at Daisy field because they are occupied most of the day. There is an empty field in Franklin Park that is available most of the day. Unfortunately, when I polled people about that possibility, I got very few responses. So at this point JP pickup is pretty much over (sigh...)
  There is indeed a pickup "ultimate" game there at 2:30ish on Sundays next to the stadium, but it is extremely casual. I repeat: EXTREMELY casual. It's a non-competitive, mostly for beginners game (no stall count, very few cuts, very little defense, barely any boundaries) It's fun and they are very nice people but it's not for everyone. If you're looking for something more competitive you'd probably want the arlington game. Good luck...
