1. Critical Mass bike ride reminder
This month's CM ride is this Friday 26 July 2002.
CM REMINDER: Fri., 26 July 1pm. Meet in front of the HaMashbir in the city center. Critical Mass, last Friday of the month demonstration for cyclists' rights. Bring the kids. Ride single file. We don't disturb the traffic. We are the traffic. We will be polite to everyone including motorists. Come early and get a sign for your bicycles 1/2-hour before the CM. Further CM questions? 2. Ohad moving to City Hall
From our Chairman, Leon Gork:
Ohad is leaving our service as Rakaz (Coordinator). He will be assistant to the Head of Sports in the City Council. We wish him lots of luck. We know that he will be a great success there and will contribute to the motivation of more sporting acitivities especially for the general public. We look forward to cooperating with him on matters of encouraging cycling in Jerusalem.
3. Looking for an aluminum frame city bike One of our readers/riders, "Dan", asks "I'm looking for an aluminum frame city bike (hybrid) in good condition. If anybody has any leads, let me know." We leave from the Binyanei Ha'Uma (Convention Center) parking lot. This is a fun and challenging 3-hour ride in the Jerusalem hills. No prior registration required.
