2. "Our Struggle" -- "Go round about Zion" on a bicycle or walking.

For Hebrew see attached file.

What we’re fighting for: a bicycle and walking path around Jerusalem.

The path needed:

A circular path starting and finishing at the Central bus station.

The Route:

Central bus station - Saker park - (Bet Hahayal) - The valley of the cross -
Teddy stadium - The zoo - Follow the railway line - Talpiot industrial zone
- Baka - Liberty bell park - Windmill park - The old city - Neviim Str. -
finish at the central bus station.

The three aims of the path:

a. Tourism

The path will attract cycling tourism. One of the most popular forms of
tourism in the world. The path will put Jerusalem on the program of cycling
tourists from all over the world. Practically all the tourist sites can be
reached by following the path.

b. Health and recreation

The path will be a venue for cycling and walking competions. A healthy form
of recreation for the citizens, especially the children of Jerusalem.

c. Accessibility

The path will make it possible to reach all the main public activity sites
in a safe pleasant environment. (No traffic hindrance)
Sites on the route of the path: Central bus station, University (Givat Ram
campus), Museums, Knesset, Shopping mall, Sport venues, tennis courts,
Stadium, Zoo, Talpiot industrial zone, parks, schools, hotels, the old city,
the center of town.
