I would like to get everyones view on Bruce Lee's
"Stop Hit" Theory. In this theory Bruce said that it is
better to intercept and counter-attack at the same time
than it is to block and then pause and hit. This was
Bruces whole basic theory for Jeet Kune Do which means
the "way or path of the intercepting or stopping
fist."<br><br>I beleive this theory but there is a grave side
note that must come with it. <br><br>We all know how
much power Bruce Lee could call upon at will and how
much mental and shear strength he possesed. Therefore
it was no problem for him to "intercept" and
counter-attack at the same time, but for someone with as little
to medium strength in the arm or someone with very
little torque power this feat can be impossible to do
and to actually strike hard and
effectivly.<br><br>Therefore Bruce Lee's theory of "stop-hit" was basiclly
only based on someone with alot of physical and mental
power, and JKD was never developed for someone of small
