Tour's awesome.

Following on from my e-mail earlier its apparent that we have a lot of
people who would like to play at Mansfield.
Too many for 1 team, not enough for 2.......
So solution is if we can get enough commitment we could potentially
enter a second team. To do this we need to get closer to 30 people
wanting
to play though
So speak up and make yourself heard. Be proactive - Crazy Apes, ask
Harmit, Jodie & Kelly and others if they want to play. Demons - Mitch,
Warren and many others might be interested. Jesters - Ben had a great
weekend in Cardiff so please spread the word.
Don't phaff though. Maybe's aren't welcome
If we don't have enough confirmations selection will be made and people
may be twiddling their thumbs that weekend instead of playing.
I will have limited access over the next week to internet so someone
will need to step up the plate in terms of managing and entering the
second team.

Everyone playing nationals must be a member of UKUA. Please just do it! See below why,
Millie
To: uniultimate@yahoogroups.com From: unicoordinator@... Date: Wed, 30 Apr 2008 12:00:24 +0100 Subject: [uniultimate] Membership for Nats div 2?
Yes,
All players at nationals (div1/div2) need to be paid up members of the UKUA.
Student membership is cheaper than ordinary membership, but comes will all the perks (except introductory membership which does not include the magazine ultimatum).
If you buy a full (not introductory) membership this year you will recieve a free double disc DVD of EUC last summer. (2008 special offer)
Every paid up student member (ordinary or introductory) is eligible to play Tour over the summer and need not purchase a 'non-student' membership to do so.
This membership money provides you with insurance to play at uni nationals and the tour events, it also goes into the UKUA which allows the UKUA to run coaching sessions, organise the national team, hire an administrator, create fitness/preperation tips for players etc. It is not simply a tax and should not be seen as such.
If anyone is having problems paying their UKUA membership please email admin@ukultimate.com The most common problem is if the email address you registered on the ukua website is not the same as the email address registered with paypal.

* we need to work out where we have went wrong in organising this for next year so people knows who job it is. Possibly secetary?
Actually, as the pitches have moved up the beach it's
going to be a bit of a trek regardless.
My vote's for one of the ones we had last year, but
since I'm not sure I'm going my vote probably
shouldn't count for much.

Hey Guys,
I'm just starting to think about accommodation for Burla. Two years
ago we stayed at camping Paradiso which I think we can all confirm was
a nice site, and the chalets were awesome.
There are some other options as well but I would like to try and get
these again. I will get in contact with them and provisionally book
12 spaces, I'm guessing this could be 3 chalets of 4.
Let me know what you think and please post back on here.

I have already asked Dave if he would mind driving and his response was ''you seriously havnt got any one else driving?''. Not that helpful (but understandable). Dave - we realise its a hassle for you but would you mind driving please? If yes we could hire one externally. It terms of people taking the test, Sam and Lauren said they would. The uni have been useless in directing me to the right person to arrange it and I have just run out of time.
The schedule is not out yet and i guess in true frisbee fashion we wont know until thursday or friday. In which case we should prob organise trains to get there friday night.
Does Edd green have a car? Could him and Sam drive and we hire a third car like we did for regionals 3 years ago! (Dave drove it). This may work out less expensive in the long run because of minimizing taxi costs when we get there? Edd i dont have Edd greens number (each time you give it to me i lose it), please could you contact him or send me it in a text?

We could, but since Trev's not able to drive it
someone would have to go get a test booked and pass it
very quickly.
It would possibly* approximately the same sort of cost
per person, but would give us greater flexibility in
York than having to taxi everywhere would.

2. We have Sam's car, and I think, only Sam's car

As a note, i've already expressed that i really do not wish to be
driving to nationals. I cant afford the time and effort with my
presentations, portfolios and final year exams coming up.
I'm really sorry about this as it may make it more difficult, but i did
ask for people to take the minibus tests a long time ago.
Hope somebody can sort it out.

I cant make indoors or outdoors this weekend. On Sunday please stick with trying to get a grasp of the 3:4. We did really well on wednesday its just much more practice and patience.
Afternoon everyone! After our truly lovely outdoors training session yesterday I thought that I would remind everyone of indoors tomorrow! It's the usual time from 8 til 9.30. If anyones going to this carnage bar crawl tonight then I might see you later! Much love Greg xxx

As a lot of you will know the cricket club along with the sports association annually hold a six a side cricket competition at Stoughton Rd. This year is no different. The date for this year's event will be Wednesday the 11th of June. The day of the sports awards. Running alongside the 6 a side competition there will be other sports events such as touch
rugby and rounders. There will be a bbq and it will be bring your own beer. Any sports club or society is free to enter a team into the cricket competition and even if you have not played before it will be a fun day. Over the past 2 years the day has proved to be a big success with everyone and seems a great way to finish off the sporting year especially with the sports awards later that day. If you would like to enter a team or just come along and support that is great. Contact me on nar7@... to enter a team stating the name of your society or club. Please can all teams be entered before the 25th May.
Thanks

Even longer?! I've already stretched him out, from the picture on the disc to the one at that URL. Might need to shrink the text a little bit in order to create room for a shorter guy. I'll have a play and see what happens.
