ERIE, Pa. - Erie started quickly and turned back each attempt by New
Britain to climb back into the game in a 6-3 win Tuesday night.

Erie took a 2-0 lead on back-to-back doubles by Matthew Joyce and Jeff
Larish and a single by Michael Hollimon off starter Oswaldo Sosa (0-2).
All three hits came with two outs.

After the Rock Cats cut the deficit to 2-1 in the third on a Garrett
Guzman single, the SeaWolves pushed the advantage back to two at 3-1 on a
Larish home run in the fourth.

A Guzman homer in the sixth pulled the Cats closer at 3-2.

Erie put the game out of reach with three runs in the last of the seventh.
New Britain tacked on another in the eighth to make it 6-3.

Alan Mills closed it out in the ninth for his 16th save.
