Jackson Metro Cyclists (JMC) is an advocate/social club for cyclists in the Jackson Metro area. Founded in the fall of 1995, JMC is affiliated with the United States Cycling Federation (USCF), the National Off-Road Bicycle Association (NORBA), the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), and USA Triathlon (USAT).

The goals of JMC are to:
* Increase community awareness of the enjoyment and benefits cycling can provide
* Promote and encourage bicycle riding and safety
* Encourage respect for the areas in which we ride
* Enjoy cycling as a healthy, fun sport

JMC is composed of road cyclists, triathletes, and mountain bikers of all skill levels from recreational riders to competitive racers.

JMC sponsors club-supported recreational bike rides every year for riders of all skill levels, including beginner children and adults. The club also sponsors cycling skills clinics, a series of Time Trial races starting in the Spring and lasting through the Summer, informative club meetings, a cycling safety awareness campaign, and more. To become a JMC member, please visit the JMC web site. You can also join at one of our skills clinics, club rides, or time trials. Membership is open to all individuals who desire to promote the purposes of JMC.
