Hi! I am running in the Race for the Cure in Indy on April 18th. This will be my third year to participate. I love this event. Watching the news coverage of it each spring is big part of what motivated to begin running. It is one of the most worthwhile, inspiring things I do all year. However...in the past, I have been pretty lax when it comes to fundraising. Asking others for money--even for a great cause--isn't a talent of mine. But...I'm asking now. My goal is to raise $50. As of this weekend, I have wrangled $13 from my immediate family.
That means I only need $37
by race day. I
think I can reach this
goal by asking my friends and family to donate one, two, or three dollars. As part of this bargain, I will match the amount I raise up to my goal. Please help me get there!! Below is a link to my fundraising page. The online donation process is quick, easy, and safe, but if you prefer to give me the money directly, I will make certain it gets added to the total. http://race.komenindy.org/site/TR/Race/General?px=1257181&pg=personal&fr_id=1060 Take care and thanks for reading.
