B2 Bikes & Boards
If you ordered bars or gels they are in stock now. B2 also has a pair of Profile Design Air Stryke Aero Bars with the flip down armrests in stock at $124.99. Stop by and check them out. Also just restocked are Mirrcycle mirrors and the Saris Bones Rack (my favorite trunk rack of all time) this thing will fit everything from a van to a geo metro. Very adjustable and easy to install and use.
B2 Time Trial Series
39 more days to the first Time Trial of the season on April 30th. New for 2008 Jr. class if we have 3 or more competitors under the age of 18 they will be scored separate from the mens class. So you team people need to be looking for a Jr. rider because they could earn the team some extra points in 08. You do not have to be on a team to participate but it is fun to see if your team can beat other teams at the year end awards.
Team Rules
1. Teams consist of no more than 5 riders with no more than 4 riders of the same gender.
2. Riders are on a team for the entire season and can not change after being scored for an event.
3. Teams will receive points based on the 5 riders scores added together.
4. Team roster is required prior to the start of the event.
Club Rules
1. Clubs consist of all members that list the club on the entry form.
2. Each rider listing a club on the entry form will earn 5 points per event for that club.
Jackson County Bicycle Club
Spring starts tomorrow. Let's get rolling and be ready for the first rides of the season. If you are going out on a ride and want some other riders to know you can join the yahoo group called jcbikeclub or search Jackson County Bicycle Club in Yahoo groups and get on the mailing list. Simply go to Yahoo.com and click on groups and search for Jackson County Bicycle Club. Follow the join this group link and get in on all the emails about upcoming group rides.
Fundraising
B2 is selling tickets to help Josh Huddleston with his expenses on a bone marrow transplant. For those of you who don't know Josh is a 1995 grad of Seymour and has Leukemia The tickets are $25 each and his aunt is raffling off painting of 3 rooms no larger than 15'x15' Paint will be donated by Sherwin Williams. If you win you pick the colors and the rooms all work will be done in late April or early May. Stop by for more info or just to make a donation.
