I wasn't trying to slight our local shops, have been a steadfast local shop supporter having bought two bikes for myself, one for my wife, and one for my son in the last eight months plus all associated gear. So I will not feel guilty about wanting to experiment with an eighty-five dollar light which is, in fact, not available locally, however I do apologize for posting links.
 
On another note, after extended reconnaissance, strategy planning, and multiple assaults, as of this past Friday, I finally OWN that stinkin' root garden.

Just got back.  Trails are tacky in places but 100% ridable.  The corners are fast.

 

Skeeters are thick and hungry.
