Ian started the show by announcing the first round matchups for 2009
KOTDM.

Corporal Robinson vs. DJ Hyde
Mad Man Pondo vs. SeXXXy
Eddy
"Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein vs. Dysfunction
Thumbtack Jack vs. Nick
Gage
Elkview Adam vs. Danny Havoc
Devon Moore vs. xOMGx
Tank vs.
Masada
Necro vs. Green Phantom

Plus, Night One - Jimmy Jacobs vs.
Egotistico Fantastico...winner gets a light heavyweight title shot on night
two

Jim Fannin then walked out to the commentary table and Ian asked him
if he was going to make his announcement already. Jim Fannin said that Ian
couldn't tell him what to do and that he would do it whenever he damn well felt
like doing it. The show began.

1. Keith Walker def.
Juice Robinson

Keith Walker destroyed Juice in this one. Juice
showed a lot of fight but was just overpowered. Walker picked him up for a
chokeslam and dropped Juice across his knee with a backbreaker out of it. Juice
actually dropped the big man with a crossbody off the top but that only made him
angry. Walker took his head off with a lariat hit the Cut throat suplex and the
Walker Driver for the pin. Jason Dukes immediately came out and laughed and
mocked Juice as Juice was being taken to the back...which led to:

2. Greg Excellent def. Jason Dukes

Excellent
started the match by giving Jason Dukes 3 titty twisters and then tossing Dukes
over the top rope by using two hands full of Duke's boobs. Dukes got back into
the ring first and as Excellent delayed returning to the ring to shake hands and
mingle with the crowd, Dukes took over and started working over the neck.
Excellent fought back and gains the win with a sit out pedigree.

3. Michael Elgin def. Devon Moore

This one
started out with a brawl on the floor that saw Devon use a chair on the stage as
a launching pad into Elgin on the floor. They fought towards the ring and Devon
went for a rana but Elgin caught him and ran him powerbomb style into the
ringpost to take control. It turned into a back and forth fight with Elgin using
size and strength while Devon used plunder, speed and quickness to even the
odds. Elgin eventually regained the upper hand with a straight jacket
brainbuster and then a vicious looking jumping tombstone piledriver. He then
clamped on a Canadian Crossface for the submission victory

4. Yellow Dog def. Ash

Yellow Dog was looking for
revenge after Ash pinned him last night by rolling him up with a handful of tail
for leverage. This time the Yellow Dog came out on top with a dive off the top
rope into a DDT on the landing.

5. Rain & The
Hooligans def. Mickie Knuckles & The Bad Breed

This one
started off as a traditional tag style match but quickly got chippy when Ian
snapped on one of the Hooligans and the results was probably a broken nose for
Mason Cutter by the looks of it. The Hooligans got revenge by injuring Ian in
return with what appeared to be a shoulder or forearm injury/dislocation. Ian
and Axl had use the ringpost and tug of war to try to put things back into place
during the match. Bad Breed & Hooligans fight on the floor and all over the
building while Rain and Mickie duke it out in the ring. Rain gets the pin on
Mickie during the melee to win the match.

Jim Fannin then feels the time
is right following the match where Ian is injured to make his announcement. He
comes ringside and tells Axl & Mickie to take a hike because this is between
him and Ian. Ian assures Mickie and Axl that even with an injured arm he isn't
scared of Fannin so they leave. Fannin then nearly dies of a stroke four
different times ranting about his hatred for Jimmy Jacobs and how the Ian Rotten
that he believed in and trusted and befriended over 10 years ago has been
replaced by a soft, injury prone, pushover that lets people like Axl, Trik Davis
and Jimmy Jacobs make him look like a buffoon with all the chances they are
given. Ian takes the mic and reminds Jim that it is that version of Ian Rotten
that has also forgiven Jim for all the fans that he has cost IWA over the years
and for all the wrestlers that refuse to work for IWA because of Jim. Ian then
tells Jim to get on with his announcement that has been eating at him for so
long.

Jim Fannin then says that he knows about Ian's phone to D anny
Daniels to bury the hatchet. Ian laughs and says "it's that what this is all
about" but stops laughing when a 5 shades of red in the face, swearing, stark
raving lunatic Fannin decks him with a right hand. Fannin realizes what he did
and with his arm shaking in a nervous wreck, he backs out of the ring and back
up to the commentary table.

Ian says that it is the last time that Fannin
will put his hands on him and not get destroyed in return and hopefully since he
had his blow up that he'd get over it. Ian says that for the betterment of the
Chicago wrestling scene, the war needs to be over. Using Jimmy, Trik etc adds to
the talent on the IWA shows making it better. Not running shows against each
other would make things better on the fans because they wouldn't have to choose
one over the other.

He then tells Fannin that if he wants Jimmy Jacobs
out of IWA so damn bad, to be a man about it and deck Jimmy like he had just
done to him. Fight Jimmy...man to man...one on one...Put Up or Shut Up. The
crowd then chanted "Fight Jimmy" but it didn't appear that Fannin was too
willing to do that any time soon.

6. Da Soul Touchaz
won a 7 team gauntlet Pick Your Poison Match

The Starting
Lineup (Kareem Abdul Jamar & Chris Mayne) def. The Contract Killers (Anthony
Henry & Dustin Knight) in a good opening leg of the gauntlet. Mayne was
doubleteamed badly throughout the match and finally tagged to Kareem who used a
strong chest pass of his basketball to knock Henry from the ring and rollup
Knight for the pin.

Old Timer Jeff King & Frankie the Face def.
Starting Lineup. This was a very quick match as King & Face hit the ring
quickly and started roughing up the rookies. Kareem went for the chest pass with
the basketball again but Old Timer caught it and returned it after Kareem turned
around and drilled him right in the back. King then clamped on the bearhug and
squeezed the life out of Kareem for the victory.

Popular Electronics
(Hype Shalwin & Gameboy) def. Old Timer & Frankie the Face after Hype
blocks the bearhug and they hit the Beer-O-Matic for the pin.

Da Soul
Touchaz (Trauma & Marshe Rockett) def. Popular Electronics after Trauma did
a fallaway slam on Gameboy and Marshe rolled up Shalwin.

Da Soul Touchaz
def. Michigan Militia (Brooks & Skyline). Militia control the match by
cutting the ring and half and doubleteaming Trauma throughout since he doesn't
have the endurance of Marshe. Trauma finally makes the tag and Marshe gets the
win with a Top Rope Centon.

Da Soul Touchaz def. Chris Havius &
Stephen Saint to win the Pick Your Poison Gauntlet Match when Trauma delivers a
huge spear.

7. Bill the Butcher def.
Dysfunction

Kimberly Kash has amazing powers to control Bill
the Butcher. The normally wildman came to the ring with a black hood covering
his face and a chain leash around his neck. Bill stayed calm until the bell rang
and Kimberly removed the hood. Butcher then went crazy and Dysfunction was
scrambling and fighting. Butcher stunned everyone when Dysfunction went to the
top rope for a splash and Bill the Butcher charged the corner, ran up the
turnbuckles, grabbed Dysfunction and delivered a powerslam off the top rope for
the pinfall. Kimberly immediately put the hood back over Butcher's head to get
him under control and take him to the back.

8. B-Boy
def. Sami Callihan

This match was as hard hitting of a match
as there has ever been in IWA. I think Sami was almost knocked out on a couple
of different occassions as one time B-Boy blocked an attempted double leg
takedown with a horrific knee to the side of the head that dropped Sami. They
did a barroom brawl of forearms and headbutts on the floor. B-Boy followed that
up with a running jumping knee into Sami's face and teeth and jaw that dropped
Sami on the floor. B-Boy had to try to lift Sami's dead weight into the ring and
then pull him away from the ropes but Sami recovered enough in that time to kick
out at two. Sami made a comeback with a couple of devastating lariats and a Koji
Clutch. He was going for a German suplex or something when B-Boy delivered a
hellacious back elbow and then attacked with a rear naked choke for the
victory.

After the match, Ian gave B-Boy an invitation into the 2009
TPI

9. Trik Davis def. Egotistico Fantastico -
Pinfalls Count Anywhere

The hatred in this match was
undeniable. The fight went all over the building and Chuckie Smooth kept
interfering. Ego drilled Chuckie and then picked up Trik for an over the
shoulder running powerslam on the floor. Instead, everyone in the front row
folded up their chairs and held them up and Ego ran Trik's head into every chair
all the way around the ring. The crowd chanted one more time and Ego obliged,
this time running Chuckie into all the chairs the same way. Ego set up Trik for
his 40 yard dash on the floor dive onto the opponent while he is sitting in a
chair but Chuckie interfered and kept it from happening. Ego went for it a
second time later but this time enlisted help. IWA board's own Scar and Roy D
Rage each grabbed on arm of Trik's and made sure he was going no where. Another
fan was then placed in a chair in front of the chair that Trik was in to give
Ego someone to jump over. Ego drilled the splash onto Trik and the crowd loved
it...especially Scar and Roy! The fight went up onto the stage at the commentary
table. Ego set up a pyramid of 8 chairs on the floor and was ready to powerbomb
Trik onto the pyramid. Chuckie Smooth got involved again and got thrashed again.
However, Keith Walker comes running out and drills Ego from behind and then
picks Ego up and powerbombs him off the stage thru the pyramid of 8 chairs.
Walker throws Trik on top of Ego for the pin.

10.
Quick Carter Gray def. Ricochet, Dingo, Prince Mustafa Ali and Jason Hades to
retain the IWA Mid-South World Light Heavyweight Title.

I
can't even begin to put into words the high flying death defying moves that
these guys broke out in this match. So many domino effect flips and twists out
of moves. So many high risk dives and craziness. The shooting star press 450
legdrop that Gray did was breathtaking. Gray gets the pin on Ricochet amongst
the madness. You have to see it to believe type stuff in this one.
