We hope that everyone that is in the Joliet area comes out to support our TV
taping this weekend especially after the severity of the weather with the snow
and the -30 wind chills in the area have kept us from being able to successfully
flyer for the event.  This television taping is a huge opportunity for us and
the bigger and the louder the crowd the better our chances of getting picked up
by the television station.  We hope to see everyone there on Saturday night for
a great night of wrestling action.

IWA Mid-South World Light Heavyweight Title Match

Dingo vs. Quick Carter Gray

Dingo
will be making a Light Heavyweight Title defense against one of the
most prolific high flyers in IWA today in Quick Carter Gray. Quick was
unable to wrest the title away from former champion Jason Hades but he
was quick to issue a challenge to the new champion. Dingo welcomes all
challengers and would be more than happy to test his skills against the
up and coming sensation. Will Dingo be able to keep up his winning ways
with twice the people gunning for him or will Dingo rise to the
challenge and continue his domination of the heavyweight division and
add the light heavyweight division to it as well?

Strong Style Showdown

"New Horror" Sami Callihan vs. B Boy

There
isn't much that needs to be said about this match. This is a dream
fight for long time IWA fans. Sami Callihan wants to prove that he is
much more than the new flavor of the month and that he is the future
franchise of the IWA. What better way to prove that potential than to
go toe to toe with the returning B Boy? B Boy has proven his dominance
all over the United States: west coast (PWG); east coast (CZW) &
everywhere in between (IWA). B Boy retired for a spell to recover from
the abuse his body had been through and is back and as hungry as ever
to see who the pretenders are and who the real motherf*ckin G's are!

Light Heavyweight Contenders Match

Prince Mustafa Ali vs. "Notorious" Devon Moore

Prince
Mustafa Ali came up just short in several attempts to win the light
heavyweight title from Jason Hades. With a new champion, all the old
contenders have to reprove themselves as worthy contenders. Ali will
have his hands full as he battles the reigning KOTDM in Devon Moore.
Devon wants to prove that he may be "Notorious" due to his KOTDM
victory but that he is just as notorious for being able to go in
regular matches as well. Which may will climb higher up the ladder to
earning a light heavyweight title shot down the road?

Grudge Match

Egotistico Fantastico vs. Trik Davis

Ego
has had nothing but problems with Smooth Operations since they teamed
together. The majority of his beef is with Ali but Ego has a score or
two to settle with one Trikory Davis as well. What better way to settle
those scores than to get a victory on a tv taping that might
potentially be seen by thousands of people?

Heavyweight Title Contenders Match

"Canadian Crazy Horse" Michael Elgin vs. Jason Hades

Jason
Hades has been granted a rematch vs. Dingo but only for the light
heavyweight title. Dingo refuses to give him a chance at the
heavyweight title unless Hades proves worthy by beating some
heavyweight contenders. The first one up for Hades...the "Canadian
Crazy Horse" Michael Elgin. Can Hades earn the victory and inch closer
to getting another shot at the HEAVYWEIGHT title or will he be forced
to make the best of his rematch for the LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT title on
February 7th and go from there?

Dingo vs.
Jimmy Jacobs

This
title shot was going to go to Ian Rotten on the original date of the
show. At the Jan. 3 Joliet show, Ian gave his title shot to Jimmy
Jacobs and said that if it was Jimmy's destiny to regain the title and
rectify the mistakes of the past...then it was time for it happen. Jim
Fannin didn't feel the same way and almost had heart failure on the
stage and swore that he wouldn't let it happen. Will Jimmy fulfill his
destiny or does destiny have other plans for Jimmy Jacobs?

Battle of TNA Knockouts
Mickie Knuckles vs. Payton Banks a.k.a. Rain

Mickie
and Rain have a long history in IWA Mid-South. They had a series of
great matches back in 2005 that saw Mickie on the winning side more
times than not. In 2004, Rain was able control the feud. It has been a
couple of years since these two have tangled but there is still no love
lost between them. Will Mickie run roughshot over Rain or will Rain use
her beauty and her brains to distract the referee and get a victory
over the Redneck Woman? Mickie will be at a disadvantage due to her
recovering broken leg but she won't use that as an excuse. Be in
Bellevue to see who the better TNA Knockout is and perhaps the winner
will be one step closer to returning to TNA?

DAVID vs. GOLIATH
Ricochet vs. The Necro Butcher

Ricochet
is one of the top high flyers in IWA. However, he probably only weighs
in at about 175 pounds. Necro is going to have at least a 100 pound
weight advantage. Can Ricochet use his quickness and aerial ability to
stay away from the madman known for destroying his opponents? Will
Necro use his size and strength to ground Ricochet and beat him to a
pulp? This is the ultimate styles clash matchup in IWA and it could
very well be the last time that Ricochet ever steps into a ring if he
can't stay away from the Necro Butcher.

Heavyweight Title Contenders Match

"New Horror" Sami Callihan vs. Tyler Black

Sami
Callihan's new year resolution is to prove to everyone by the end of
2009 that HE is the franchise and the future of IWA. He desperately
wants to be thought of as the Chris Hero of 2000 - 2004 in IWA history.
The guy that can do it all and wrestle anyone and not only win but win
over the fans as well. He's been a finalist in TPI, Strong Style and
Candido Cup. He's gotten victories in Double Death and over Mickie
Knuckles and Ian Rotten. The next thing on his checklist is to beat up
a former IWA Mid-South light heavyweight champion with tremendous hype
and fanfare on the internet. Can Sami top the MTV, ROH star or does he
still have more to accomplish before establishing himself as the
franchise?

Light Heavyweight Contenders Positioning Match

Trik Davis vs. Shane Hollister

Shane
Hollister will be making his IWA Mid-South debut and he has drawn a
very tough customer in Trikory Davis. While a victory in his debut
won't guarantee him a title shot, it will go a long way in guaranteeing
that he returns to IWA and that he will be taken seriously. If Trik
wins, whether by hook or by crook, the former IWA heavyweight champion
could see himself in title contention for the light heavyweight title.
Hollister has a lot of good press and hype behind him coming in to IWA.
Will he fold under the pressure or will we have another young rising
star in the IWA ranks in 2009?

Tables, Ladders & Chairs Grudge Match

Grits N Gravy (Elgin & Sami) vs. Michigan Militia (Brooks & Skyline) vs. Sex
Drugs & Wrestling (Chambers & Ash)

Elgin
teamed with Chambers at the first Bellevue show to take on the Militia.
Chambers turned on Elgin disgusted that he was using Sami Callihan as a
tag partner. That somehow was a betrayal to his Canadian roots.
Chambers promised that Elgin would never be able to get another
Canadian to team with him...including his former tag partner and man he
came to IWA with, Ash. It allowed the Militia to get a victory over
Elgin. Elgin and Chambers started an impromptu match against each other
when the Militia got involved again. They beat down both Elgin and
Chambers leading to the need for a 3 way. In order to make it a little
more interesting...tables, ladders and chairs will be allowed. Will the
Canadians side with the Militia or Grits N Gravy to make it 4 on 2
until the Militia is taken care of or will the past friendship of Elgin
and Ash mean nothing and every team fend for themselves? Maybe Sex
Drugs & Wrestling will work with the Militia to prove a point to
Elgin. The only thing known for sure is that chaos will ensue!

IWA Mid-South World Light Heavyweight Title Match

Dingo vs. Jason Hades

Jason
Hades has used his mandatory rematch clause in his contract as the
former champion to get another shot at Dingo. Dingo is only allowing
him to go after the Light Heavyweight title since that is what Hades
contract gives him the power to get a rematch for. These two had a
tremendous matchup on January 3rd and Hades came up just short in his
attempt to become the unified champion. He was in the hospital with a
flu bug the day before the event and says that is why he was unable to
go to 2 - 0 against Dingo. Dingo doesn't want to hear excuses and says
that he beat Hades clean in the middle of the ring. These two will go
at it one more time...this time it won't be for all the marbles
though...just the World Light Heavyweight Title.
