Here are your results from 9/16 in Sellersburg, IN
1.) HyZaya w/ Uncle Honkey def. Tarek the Great
HyZaya gained a measure of revenge by beating Tarek in this return
match from the last show in Sellersburg. HyZaya gets the hard fought
win following a super kick. HyZaya then tells Tarek how he admired
him and that he would have asked Tarek to train him instead of the
American Kickboxer but he was intimidated by Tarek. He continued to
say that he knows that only Tarek & Kickboxer have more IWA Mid-South
Light Heavyweight Title reigns than him and that he wanted another
match with Tarek and to become the record holder for times to hold
the title. Tarek then slapped HyZaya in the face but told him "that
was out of respect." I'm sure we haven't seen the end of this.
2.) Rough Tough Jimmy Clough def. Mike Roach
This was dubbed as a "Battle for your spot" match and these two tore
into each other. Ian called it a "slobberknocker" afterwards. Jimmy
Clough wins with an avalanche in the corner followed by a running
lariat. Ian told Jimmy that he earned his spot and gave him kudos for
fulfilling his dream from when he came to shows in Charlestown and
wanted a shot in IWA. Ian invited him back next week on the 22nd.
3.) Roderick Strong def. "Spyder" Nate Webb
It would be easy to say that Roderick dominated this matchup but that
would belittle the display of heart and fortitude from Nate in this
match. It took a hellacious beating to finally get the three count
that came after the gutbuster and tiger bomb. Nate had several near
pinfalls and had Roderick on the ropes himself but the higher impact
and crazy stuff came from Roderick. He took a push pin from a weapon
and pierced Nate's nipple with it. He also gave Nate a giant swing on
the floor and threw him into the ringpost. Tremendous matchup between
these two.
4.) Ricochet def. Chrisjen Hayme with a Shooting Star Press...didn't
see the match
5.) Chuck Taylor def. B.J. Whitmer to retain the IWA Mid-South World
Heavyweight Title
Jim Fannin took over the ring announcing duties from the debut
announcer to introduce B.J. and guarantee a new champion. He then
went back to the commentary table. Great back and forth battle
between the two that saw Fannin leave the commentary table several
times to give advice to B.J. The end came when B.J. called for Fannin
to get on the apron and Fannin pulled out a bag of powder and went to
throw it at Chuck as BJ was holding him. Chuck ducked and BJ got hit
with the powder. Chuck then rolled up BJ and pinned him.
6.) Mad Man Pondo def. Suicide Kid w/ Summer in the TLC & Scaffold
match
This was Suicide Kid's first match in 5 years and he got a very warm
reception from the old time IWA fans that remembered him. It brought
tears to his eyes. Pondo got the win with a DVD through the table
that had broken earlier before Suicide Kid could climb the scaffold
and leap off. Pondo told Kid that he couldn't go out like that and
Ian came out and said the same thing. That Suicide Kid was home in
IWA and that he couldn't leave his home with a faulty table keeping
him from giving the fans what they came to see. They agreed to have
one final match on October 7th at the 11th anniversary show to have
Suicide Kid's retirement match in a TLC & Multiple Scaffold match
7.) Necro Butcher def. Deranged & Tank in a Fans Bring the Weapons
Match to win the IWA Mid-South Death Match Title..
Necro won his first singles championship in IWA Mid-South in one of
the most brutal beatings I have ever seen in my life. Necro beat the
holy hell out of Deranged throughout the match like Deranged owed him
money. Punches to the face and stomps to the head that would have
been unbelievable if it weren't for the hellacious beating he put on
him with a golf club. Then in all the most unlikely endings ever, The
NECRO BUTCHER WINS THE TITLE WITH A FLYING CROSSBODY OFF THE TOP
ROPE!!!???!!! onto Tank.
8.) Ian Rotten & Mickie Knuckles def. Six Feet Under in a No Rope
Barbed Wire 200 Light Tubes match
This match produced one of the most shocking events I have witnessed.
Ian Rotten dislocated his knee following a knee lift on Lane and was
relegated to not being able to move in the ring. He was a sitting
duck for Freak Show. Jim Fannin emptied his pockets and left the
commentary table and thought about entering the ring to help Ian but
instead stayed on the floor and hit Show in the back with a light
tube. Ian kept fighting back but couldn't stand up. Mickie got tied
up in the barbed wire and Six Feet Under had free reign on Ian. Freak
Show was not about to go for a pinfall and Lane started screaming at
him that they weren't in this business for ending people's career's
and making their families go hungry. He was there solely to win the
match and that Freak Show needed to cut out the bullshit. Freak Show
slapped Lane and Lane dropped him. This allowed Mickie Knuckles to
hit the shining kick to the face and get the pinfall. Lane left Freak
Show laying in the ring. Ian was rushed to the back and after several
minutes of laying on the floor in the back, it was discovered that it
was his knee cap that was dislocated. Mike Miller and Suicide Kid
helped get the kneecap back into place several minutes later.
Ian has his knee iced and bandaged but was able to walk on his own
when he left the building. Hopefully it is only a minor injury.
So we have a new Death Match champion, dissention in Team IWA Deep
South and Six Feet Under and a main event match for the 11th
anniversary.

***************************************************************
We are extending the Buy 3 Get 3 ( or 4 or 5 etc...) dvd sale until
the end of September.
Ian wanted everyone to know that things money-wise aren't getting any
better. With the show in Plainfield last Friday not drawing many
people , he had to use merchandise & concession money to pay the
bills.
The Oolitic floor has to be paid by November. And it seems like we
take one step forward just to take 3 steps back. Ian said he is doing
what he knows to do in turning to his fans to help.
Ian and myself have been talking about things we can do to turn all
this around but right now we need the help of you once again.
Thanks to everyone who supports IWA by buying dvds and coming to the
show or just by spreading the word. We are going to try to look for
other buildings in other towns (buildings with cheaper rent) so if
anyone has any ideas about places we can run (within reason) please
email me at Rottenwife@....
Thanks to everyone who sent me & James Christopher well wishes when
we were sick. He is still a little under the weather but much better
than he was.
