Here are the results from "A Prelude to Death" in Plainfield, Indiana
on May 11th:

Ian Rotten comes to the ring to welcome everyone to the show. He is
wearing a black eye patch over his right eye due to the eye injury
suffered at the hands of Freak Show. Ian announces that Die Hard
Dustin will be in the KOTDM tournament. Ian Rotten announces that he
will be out of the KOTDM tournament due to his eye injury and will not
compete until September. Ian says that Axl Rotten will take his place
in the KOTDM. Axl isn't in the building yet but "our shows run late so
he still has time." Ian said he would wrestle tonight if Axl didn't
show up but due to Jim Fannin yelling at him today and Patti
threatening to divorce him if he doesn't let his eye heal, he will not
get into the ring. 10 big matches tonight.

1). Chrisjen Hayme def. Cabana Man Dan

Cabana Man Dan makes his debut in IWA Mid-South tonight and is a very
brave individual to get into our ring barefooted. Closely contested
match that has spilled out onto the floor and they are exchanging
chops and head butts and kicks in front of the front row. Hayme begs
for mercy but CMD bites his fingers. Hayme then delivers and modified
BBoy dropkick in the corner. Still closely contested back and forth.
CMD smacking the hell out of Hayme with his Cabana flip flops (flip
flop chops...credit Fusion). Hayme blocks the attempted La Magistral
and gets the pin.

2). Mickie Knuckles def. Christie Summers to retain the IWA Mid-South
Women's title

Christie is slightly different gear from Shelbyville. She has a blue
mini skirt thing on tonight and the crowd greets her with "Christie's
a slut" chants. Christie uses a lot of hair pulls and has control of
Mickie and is working over her back. Mickie is tangled in the ropes as
Christie jumps on her back and kicks her repeatedly. Mickie turns the
tide with one of the stiffest forearms to the face. Exchange of breast
chops and then a few vicious headbutts. Christie jumps off the top
rope but Mickie catches her and spins around several times before
dropping out into the slam. The ladies exchange forearms and kicks
from their knees and Mickie wins the exchange. Christie with a
chop...Mickie with a forearm...Christie with a chop...Mickie with a
headbutt...again Christie loses the battle of exchanging strikes.
Mickie tries several times for a German Suplex but Christie keeps
blocking them...Mickie with a headbutt to the back of the head of
Christie...hits the German Suplex for the pin.

3). Devon Moore def. Vortekz

Vortekz hits double knee stomp off the top rope but Devon kicks out.
Sorry about the lack of details from the beginning. They did have many
rollups reversals and backslide near falls. Devon Moore with the
shooting star press. Southern Rock hits the ring and attacks Vortekz
and lay him out after the match.

4). "The Deaf Tone Killers" Jack Thriller & Zack McGuire def. "Hype"
Jimmy Shalwin & Ricochet

The deaf Zack takes out his hearing aid so he can't hear the ref tell
him that he is cheating. Zack and Jack control the pace and the
action. Zack with a standing shooting star press and with a moonsault
but only two counts as they work over Ricochet. Hype tags in and hits
the double backbreaker sidewalk slam onto Jack and then a chokeslam
onto Zack but only a two. Hype picks up Zack into a firemans carry and
Ricochet jumps off the top rope with a centon onto Zack and then Hype
drops Zack with a Samoan Drop but only two. Jack goes for a figure
four on Hype and gets the submission victory for his team.

5). "Simply Marvelous" Mitch Ryder def. Flash Flanagan

Flash comes out to the opening of Real American and then American
Badass and he is dressed in yellow and red that says "Flashamania".
Crowd chants "Mitch is gay" and infuriates Mitch. Mitch goes to the
floor and asks for timeout and jaws with some fans for calling him
gay. Mitch with a shoulder tackle and then he jumps up to the second
rope and celebrates and asks if the crowd if he is great. Flash with a
couple of bodyslams and a dropkick and Mitch goes to the floor again.
Mitch gets control of the match but Flash makes a comeback with a back
body drop and a clothesline and then a big boot and a 10 punch count
along with the ref makes him get down and Mitch rolls him up and puts
his feet on the ropes for the three count.

Ian comes out after intermission and says that Axl still hasn't landed
yet and that Tank will be replacing Axl for the FBTW BW Cage match.
Attendance has reached 177 for tonight.

6). "The Pretty Unreals" Michael Elgin & Ash def. "Naptown Dragons"
Die Hard Dustin & xOMGx & "Southern Rock" Hillybilly Jed & Indiana
Kidd Jr.

Die Hard says that since he's in the 2007 KOTDM that he wants this to
be old school IWA rules...no DQ...no countout.

xOMGx with a front flip legdrop on Ash but Elgin reaches in and breaks
up the count. Pretty Unreals take control...Ash with a centon flip
over the top rope from the apron onto xOMGx and then Ash with a Vader
bomb off the second rope onto xOMGx. Southern Rock then makes another
appearance and start beating the hell out of the Naptown Dragons in a
quest for local superiority. The Pretty Unreals join into the fray and
it is a six way brawl on the floor. Referee turns it into a three way
dance. Chairshots galore all over the place. Diehard slingshots
himself to the floor into a double foot stomp onto the back of
Hillbilly Jed. Michael Elgin just did the unthinkable. He picked up
Hillybilly Jed into a firemans carry like he was nothing and then
charged at xOMGx who was on the top rope and gathered him up onto the
top of Jedd and did a double Samoan Drop to them both. "Holy Shit"
chant from the crowd. Jedd is choking out xOMGx with a Southern Rock
tshirt and then tosses him to the floor. Ash sneaks up on Indiana Kidd
Jr and chokes him with his own tshirt as he was chopping xOMGx on the
floor. Dragons and Southern Rock back into the ring. Dustin in down in
the corner and xOMGx is tied into a tree of woe position in front of
him and Jedd just got thrown into them both by Kidd jr. Pretty Unreals
back into the ring. Six Feet Under have come to the ring and are
working over xOMGx. Freak Show pulls out a spike and Dustin runs into
the ring to save his partner. Insane Lane has ahold of Dustin and
Freak Show is on the mic. Freak Show is holding Dustin hostage for his
spot in the KOTDM...give Freak Show his spot or get his eye stabbed
with the spike. Dustin agrees to give up his spot to Freak Show so he
doesn't get stabbed. The Pretty Unreals on the floor watching.
Southern Rock is laid out on the floor. Six Feet Under leave the ring
and Pretty Unreal sneaks back in and gets the pin. Then Southern Rock
attack Naptown Dragons again and lay out both men.

So the big news out of that match for those that might have skimmed
over it...

FREAK SHOW just got himself into the 2007 KOTDM by holding Dustin
hostage and forcing him to give up his spot.

7). Tracy Smothers def. Z-Barr for the most hated man in IWA monicker.

A fan in the front row has a sign that says "Smothers fears JBL" that
is awesome. Z Barr complains that not even the ref will talk to him
because he is so hated. Z Barr says he knows that all the fans will
shit all over him on the net at the end of the night no matter what he
does. "Shut the I have a potty mouth up" comes from the crowd. Tracy's
turn on the mic. Says that he out threw Peyton Manning and that he out
dunked Larry Bird and that he hates Indiana. "Tracy sucks" from
everyone. Tracy sees the JBL sign and says "JBL is a fucking faggot.
He's too chicken to get into an IWA ring." Tracy tells Z Barr that if
he pays him $5 and denounces his citizenship to Philadelphia (because
even Indiana hates Philadelphia) and hang out with Tracy and learn how
to be a star. Z Barr says that he's lost 20 pounds since last time in
Plainfield and that he wants to showcase his talent and he could "bang
any chick in the building." Tracy takes off his "$2000 hat and $10,000
robe" and "the divorce rate goes up" and the match is finally underway.

Tracy gets the win. Ian asks the crowd if they cheered after the pin
because they like Tracy or because the match was over. Crowd was
resounding in saying it was because the match was over. Ian then tells
Z Barr that he should have took the $5 because "after that performance
you would have doubled your payday but hey thanks for the concession
sales."

8). "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles def. Joker

AJ tells Joker that he may be good and maybe even one day great but
that he will never be phenomenal. AJ is frustrated in the early going
when Joker matches him move for move. Joker calls AJ a "pussy" and
demands that he gets back in the ring. AJ says something insulting
about WWE and then sits in the front row. Some of the crowd chants
"overrated" at him. Joker still frustrating AJ and sends him to the
floor again. Joker tries a plancha onto AJ but AJ runs up to the ring
and forearms him in the face as he goes through the ropes. AJ finally
takes control and tells the crowd that "its a piece of cake." Crowd
split as to who they want to chant for between "AJ" and "Joker." Joker
regains control with an almost phenomenally done head and neck suplex.
Crowd very vocal in their "Lets Go Joker" "Lets Go AJ" dueling chants.
Joker with another cradle belly to back suplex for a near fall. AJ
blocks a spear and does a moonsault off the second and grabs Joker
into a reverse DDT. Joker ducks a punch and applies a Crippler
Crossface but AJ makes it to the ropes. AJ with a flip kick and then
an Oklahoma Saddleroll and two hands full of tights for the three count.

Crowd gives a standing ovation and chant for Joker.

9). Chuck Taylor def. Danny Basham to retain the IWA Mid-South World
Heavyweight Title

Chuck Taylor no longer sporting the mullet and has a business haircut
now. Crowd still giving him very warm reception much to his chagrin.
"Chuck is God" poster in the crowd. I must say that I am a big fan of
the signs in the crowd. IWA fans need to bring more signs/posters to
shows. That is awesome. Danny Basham with a leglock on the crowd and
they boo horrificly until Chuck reaches the rope. Basham totally
overpowering Chuck with takedowns to loud thunderous boos and that
turn to cheers when he reaches the ropes. Bizarro world IWA in
Plainfield returns again for two months in a row. Side headlock get
loud applause for Chuck but Basham getting out of it and delivering a
shoulder tackle is met with many boos. Chuck tries for a bodyslam but
can't and the crowd chants "f*ck him up Chuck...f*ck him up." Chuck
offers Basham a bribe and then sucker punches him when he takes the
money to count it. Crowd applauds hugely at this dastardly deed. Chuck
then gets into a test of strength with Basham and the crowd chants
"tap" at Basham and then boos when he wins the test of strength. Crowd
is now counting along with the ref in anticipation of the three count
for Chuck and chanting "bullsh*t" when its only two. Ref almost gets
clocked twice...third time is the charm. Ref is out...Flash Flanagan
runs into the ring and superkicks Basham and Chucks gets the pin.
"That was awesome" rings out from the crowd.

10). Tank & Drake Younger vs. Six Feet Under in a Fans Bring the
Weapons Barbed Wire Cage match

The four men are in the ring and the door is locked.

Tank & Drake going to town on Six Feet Under. Thumbtack tennis racket
by Tank to the back of Lane. Tank with a thumbtack pizza tin pan.
Drake is blasted in the head with a thumbtack bat by Lane. Freak Show
is a very bloody mess due to Tank. Tank with a cheese grater to the
face of Freak Show. Drake is beating the hell out of Lane. Freak Show
may not make it to KOTDM. Staple Gun by Drake onto Freak Show. Tank
holds Lane for Drake to hit with a stop sign but Lane moves and Drake
drills Tank. Drake with the cheese grater to the crotch of Freak Show.
Thumbtack chair by Drake onto Freak Show. Drake checks on Tank and
tells him "I'm sorry." Tank clotheslines Drake and now it is three on
one! Thumbtack chair to the back on Drake. Drake is in a world of
pain. Ref is calling for the bell. Mickie and the dressing room is
emptying trying to climb over the cage. Lane & Show hold Drake in the
air and Tank comes off the ropes with a stomp. Powerbomb onto Drake.
Tank, Show & Lane are knocking everyone off the cage. They have a huge
rope int he ring tied into a noose. Dustin goes through the door but
Tank is too much for him. Ian is on his way to the ring. Patti stops
him and is yelling at him. Patti will not let Ian into the ring.
Mickie is in the ring getting brutalized now. Ian returns from the
dressing room with Chuck Taylor and the crowd goes crazy. They are
trying to hang Mickie from the top of the cage with the rope. Patti is
trying to hit Freak Show with a barbed wire oar through the cage door.
Mickie is strung up from the cage. Axl comes through the door with his
bags and drills Tank with chairs shots and is clearing hte ring. They
had cut the cage off the one side and Axl was able to go through the
huge hole in the cage. Mickie is severely injured from hanging from
the cage. Patti and Ian are frantic.

Ian is yelling at Patti for not letting him into the cage sooner to
save Mickie. Drake is still out as well.

Is going towards the dressing room after Tank, Freak Show and Insane
Lane and Axl is chasing after him to stop him. Mickie is being carried
out of the ring and she is in tears from the pain. No one has left the
building as all the fans are concerned about Mickie and Drake. They
are trying to get Drake out of the cage and the crowd gives him a
round of applause as he is helped from the cage.

Ian is on the microphone and tells Deep South that this is a war that
shouldn't be fought. IWA Mid-South is a family and "if you I have a
potty mouth with one of us then you I have a potty mouth with all of
us" and now Ian is telling Axl that no matter how many demons and how
many no shows he has done, he was always welcomed back.

4). Josh Abercrombie won a 7 man elimination Light Heavyweight
Contender's match last eliminating Human Tornado. Also in the match,
CJ Otis, Jack Thriller, Zack McGuire, Ricochet and Billy Roc.

6). Joey Mercury def. Tyler Black

7). Brandon Thomaselli def. Jigsaw to retain the IWA Mid-South World
Light Heavyweight title

8). Chuck Taylor def. Devon Moore to retain the IWA Mid-South World

9). Axl Rotten def. Tank in a pinfalls count anywhere match...I did
see that they brawled down the street outside the building.

10). Hotstuff Hernandez def. Eddie Kingston with a border toss.
