People have been wondering about whether Jimmy Jacobs will show up to
take on The Barbarian this Friday after the announcement on the net
that he had torn his ACL.
This led to Jim Fannin posting the following on the IWA message board:
6 to 9 months does not sound like a career ending injury to me. I love
BJ and all that he has done for me in the past but that does not
qualify for the bounty. It makes me happy but not happy enough to pay
the bounty.
Now on to Jimmy Jacobs...
He has been wrestling on a bad knee since at least before the match
against Josh Abercrombie in Midlothian. It was bandaged up heavily
during that match and he has been limping around ever since.
If Jimmy Jacobs was any kind of a man at all, he would still honor his
booking for April Blood Showers and wrestle one more match on a bad
knee...the ACL can't get torn again if it is already torn right? I
remember watching Perry Saturn do top right elbow drops with his leg
in the brace after he tore his ACL. Like I said, he's been limping
around and coasting and taking paydays from companies for 4 months now
on a bad wheel so what is one more match.
If Jimmy Jacobs wants to get revenge on me so damn bad, he'll show up
in Plainfield and take his medicine like a man. I told him in
Midlothian what he needed to do and that was follow the course of the
man from Godfather 2 that took his own life for betraying the Family
because it was the honorable thing to do. Well if he has a weak
stomach and can't cut his own wrist, he can still show up and let The
Barbarian finish him off once and for all so he can regain some of his
dignity.
I'll say this in closing and leave it at that...if Jimmy Jacobs wants
a job waiting for him in IWA if and when his knee gets better, he
needs to show up in Plainfield. I gave him his job back when Ian
refused to do it. I can take it away from him just as easily. If Jimmy
Jacobs wants a job, he better not NO SHOW on Friday night. NO
SHOW...NO JOB. That is how I see it.
See you in Plainfield Jimmy Jacobs...or else we will hunt you down and
kill you in your hospital bed after your surgery. The choice is yours.
Take it like a man or take it like the bitch that you are.
Good Day.

That infuriated Jimmy Jacobs enough to lead to this announcement:
Jimmy Jacobs has called me and said that due to what Fannin put on the
board earlier today calling his manhood into question, that he will
indeed make the show this weekend and do everything that he possibly
can to shut up Fannin once and for all and get his revenge for the bat
shot, being fired and having to watch his back everywhere that he goes
due to the bounty placed on his head.
The Barbarian vs. Jimmy Jacobs will take place in Plainfield so there
is no need to announce a replacement match for The Barbarian.
I do not know the severity of his injuries suffered against BJ and he
didn't go into full details with me on the phone in between all the
cussing and yelling. Maybe he is taking some time off after this
weekend or perhaps the injury isn't as bad as the newswire made it out
to be but he has promised to make this show and finish the war with
Jim Fannin.

So there you have it folks...Jimmy Jacobs will indeed be in Plainfield.
