IWA Mid-South presents "SIMPLY THE BEST 7"

The IWA Mid-South Tag-Team Championship will be on the line at Simply
the Best 7. Unfortunately, Ian Rotten's tag-team partner, Mad Man
Pondo, will be leaving early for a Japanese tour. Ian has made
an "executive decision" and has chosen a partner whom he feels is
worthy to help him defend the titles. After his impressive
performances lately, not only in IWA Mid-South, but in CZW's
Tournament of Death V - which he was a finalist in - Ian has chosen
IWA upstart DRAKE YOUNGER as his tag-team partner. Their opponents
will be the most impactful tag-team in recent memory - Vulgar Display
of Power - BRAIN DAMAGE & DERANGED! Also, Ian has decided that due to
the high amount of violence anticipated for this match-up, this
championship match will be the final bout of the evening! This one
will not be for the squeamish!

Ever since Low-Ki arrived in IWA Mid-South this past spring, he has
dominated. He destroyed Tyler Black, he made the Necro Butcher into a
human-punching bag, and he almost caved in Josh Abercrombie's
sternum. His opponent at the Simply the Best 7 is a former WWE, ECW,
and WCW star...2 Cold Scorpio! Scorpio is a legendary competitor
who's seen action all over of the world. Scorpio and Low-Ki cannot
wait to hook it up in Midlo...

the Best 7...now we have his replacement, and once again, IWA proves
why it is the most fan-friendly promotion there is.

The annual Simply the Best Tournament (a.k.a. "The Flippy
Tournament") will feature 4 of the most fearless and craziest junior-
heavyweights in the country today. There will be 2 first round
matches and a final toward the end of the night, but this year, the
stakes have risen - tables, ladders, and chairs are legal throughout
the tournament...

The storied feud between Tyler Black and Josh Abercrombie has
resurfaced. By order of Ian Rotten, they were kept apart for 6
months - but their hatred for one another has just been building.
They've defined high-risk in TLC matches, Iron Man Tables matches,
and Finishers matches over the IWA Mid-South Lightheavyweight
Title...but this time around they will put something else on the
line...

JOSH ABERCROMBIE vs TYLER BLACK

Vito and Sal Thomaselli have dubbed themselves IWA's "Legend
Killers." In the past couple of months, they have targeted an
original in the Amercian Kickboxer...AKB has been through several
partners but every time out, the Iron Saints, one way or another,
have come out on top. Ian Rotten has granted Kickboxer's request and
he will have a partner of his choice...

*UPDATE* The American Kickboxer has chosen his tag-team partner to
face the Thomasellis. He is none other than former IWA Mid-South
World Heavyweight Champion TRIK DAVIS!

IWA Mid-Southpresents "SCORPIO RISING"

Last month, Bull Pain had a World Title shot that turned into a wild
brawl involving four more men than he originally anticipated. Bull
was absolutely furious afterward and felt that he was screwed out of
the title. To make sure that Bull gets his title shot, Ian Rotten has
decided that if Arik Cannon wins the IWA World Heavyweight Title at
Simply the Best 7, he will defend the title against Bull Pain.
Otherwise, this will be a Circle City Street Fight - meaning that
there are no rules!

"MR. INSANITY" TOBY KLEIN vs BULL PAIN

Brandon Thomaselli has been a stand-out ever since he stepped foot in
an IWA Mid-South ring. In his first Highland, IN appearance, he took
current "ECW superstar" C.M. Punk to the limit. He won the Indiana
State Title tournament after he wrestled for another company in the
same evening. There's no doubt that he has been impressive, but has
he written a check that his ass can't cash? We'll find out when he
faces a former ECW, WWE, & WCW superstar....

2 COLD SCORPIO vs BRANDON THOMASELLI

Low-Ki has been absolutely dominate ever since he's entered IWA. He
is always uo for any challenge. But how is the current TNA X-Division
Champion going to handle the antics of the most unorthodox and out-
right looniest man in independent wrestling today? Will Delirious'
madness throw Ki off his game? Or will Delirious face the same fate
as all the rest?

Two of the toughest and craziest men that IWA has to offer beat the
living hell out of eachother at A Blue Summer's Night Strut Comedy
and we're gonna give it to you again! This time, on August 12 in
Plainfield, IN, the stakes have been raised...in order to win this
match - you must win 2 straight falls! These two could be beating the
hell out of eachother all night!

Chikara Pro star Gran Akuma makes his singles debut in IWA Mid-South
against a former two-time IWA World Heavyweight Champion. Much like
the World title match, if Toby Klein loses the title to Arik Cannon,
he will be taking his place....

ARIK CANNON vs GRAN AKUMA

Vito and Sal Thomaselli believe that they are one of the best tag-
teams, not only in IWA, but the world. They want to get back into
contention for the IWA Mid-South Tag-Team Championships, but in order
to do that they must get past two of IWA's best young talents.

CHUCK TAYLOR/RICOCHET vs IRON SAINTS

Chikara Pro graduate Icarus will make his return to IWA against a new-
comer from IWA East-Coast. Hold on to your seats - the Light-
Heavyweight presence will be felt in Plainfield!

IWA Mid-South makes deathmatch wrestling history as we present, for
the first time ever, the QUEEN OF THE DEATHMATCHES!

Already announced for this tournament are IWA's own Mickie Knuckles
and making her IWA debut, LuFisto!

The following night, IWA presents its TAG-TEAM DEATHMATCH TOURNAMENT!
Eight teams will do battle in the most extreme of conditions in a one
night tournament. Teams for this tournament will be announced as soon
as they are confirmed..

TICKETS for both of these events will go on sale through PayPal with
Patti on AUGUST 1.

1st and 2nd row passes are $50.
