RESULTS 7/8 MUSCATINE, IA @ ARMORY
---------------------------------------------------

Last night, Friday, 7/2, IWA-MS co-promoted an event with NWA No Limits
Wrestling at the Armory in Muscatine, IA. Here's a fan's account (thewickedone
on
the IWA-MS Message Board) of what went down...

Chandler McClure defeats Jaysin Strife with the Touchdown. Strife gets his
shit ruined once again and gets some ugly marks, including a purple mark in the
shape of Eddie Kingston's boot, who came out and shook Chandler's hand and
wailed on Jayson for a few seconds and then talked down Ian.

Ryan Cruz defeats Darren Corbin and Bryce Benjamin after hitting a top rope
legdrop on Corbin as he pinned Bryce and rolling him up with a firm grip on his
ugly ass tights. Corbin once again upset the crowd by taking them off
afterward. A kitten somewhere in Iowa died instantly. Thanks a lot for killing a
kitten, Darren.

Matt Sydal retains the Midwest X-Division title with a standing moonsault. He
barely escaped the Glimmering Warlock and was able to pull the victory out of
his ass. Arik showed Matt respect afterwards, putting the belt on his waist
(acting like he was going to hit him from behind) and everyone gave him a round
of applause. Further proof of Matt's dominance in the ring.

Josh Abercrombie defeats Jerry Lynn with a roll up. Jerry Lynn was on fire
with the crowd and hit the cradle piledriver, only to have Josh put his foot in
the ropes and escape. Jerry kicked out of the "Taliban Backpack Lungblower
longest name for a finisher ever" and after a quick exchange Josh pulled it off.
Jerry got a "Please Come Back" chant and seemed more than happy to try.

Delirious defeats Tracy Smothers. I forgot how as I was busy laughing half
the match. Tracy was getting the upper hand, getting a lot of "Fuck JBL" chants.
Delirious rolled out of the ring when JBL's music hit! As they looked toward
the curtains, Delirious stood up with a cowboy hat, a jacket and a donut in
his mouth. There was a JB-Lerious chant and after a little more action,
Delirious won, I think by a roll up. Tracy put over IWA and Delirious, then
clotheslined him saying, "Fuck everyone and fuck you, Delirious. I'm a tweener."
They
both got a round of applause.

Ryan Boz defeats Abyss and Tyler Black to become the new Iowa State Champion.
This was a beauty, folks, several high points being Abyss chokeslamming Boz
through a table on the outside, Tyler tossing them both a chair and diving over
the top rope at them and a Standing SSP by Tyler Black onto one of them under
a ladder. Tyler was able to grab the belt but the ref was knocked out. Boz
took advantage of it and wailed on him, grabbing the belt from the ground just
as the ref woke up and getting the win.

Ian Rotten makes Eddie Kingston say I quit inside of a steel cage after
trying to remove his eyeball with a fork. Eddie was attacking Ian's broken
wrist/hand early on, Ian eventually coming back to work on Eddie's entire arm
with a
chair, attacking it viciously. Eddie asked him to stop because his arm was
broken but Ian was relentless. At one point, Eddie called out Chandler, who
brought out a bag of thumbtacks that were spread through the ring. Ian's face
was
smeared into them, Eddie kicking him a few times into them, too. Ian eventually
did a sort of slam on Eddie that looked like it was a snapmare into the tacks
and pulled the fork out, screaming that he was going to take his eyeball.
Eddie promptly quit.

Afterward, Ian told Eddie that he was tough but it wasn't over yet. Next time
they hit Muscatine, Eddie can bring any tag team partner he wants, Ian will
bring Axl Rotten and they'll have a tag team match. If Eddie's team loses,
Eddie LEAVES IOWA. If Ian loses, he leaves Iowa. One way or another, Ian said
there isn't enough room in Iowa for both of them.

It was a great show, shorter than the ones in the past. That's not a huge
problem because the shows were almost marathons as it is but I didn't mind it
being longer. IWA scores again.
